A bluish-pink light shone from the Bone Eater's Well briefly, before Kagome popped her head up over the side. Hauling herself up, she turned and held her hand back inside to help Inuyasha out. "C'mon, I'll give ya a hand."

"Well I should hope so," Kagome said with a smile. "Cause I've gotten used to having you around. She started to lean in for a kiss...

"Kagome!"

...only to be interrupted by a flying ginger furball. Shippo launched himself into the air and into the surprised miko's arms. "Shippo? What are you doing out here?" Kagome asked as she hugged him.

"I smelled you and Inuyasha! Where've you been, it's been so long!" Shippo babbled out as he jumped from Kagome to Inuyasha.

Shippo hugged Inuyasha around his neck- despite how much the fox youkai argued with the grouchy hanyou, the truth was he really had missed him and Kagome while they were away. For now though, the little demon was perfectly content to sit up on his usual spot on top of Inuyasha's head. Kagome chuckled, nudging Inuyasha. "Oh come on, Inuyasha...he's happy to see you. Give him a hug!"
