▪ Figment Earth is an attempt to take multiple canons and connect them into a single, solid setting. More specifically, we're openly accepting any and all console videogame characters. If the character originated in a console videogame, they're accessable--everything from Final Fantasy to Soul Calibur. As long as you can find a way to fit the character into the provided setting, and the character's not being demonstrated as too powerful... well, they're allowed in. You can have as many characters as you can keep track of, though try not to go overboard.

▪ General roleplaying guidelines apply. In other words, no godmoding, no Mary Sue types, no controlling other characters without permission. If a character is deemed too powerful overall, you may be asked to tone it down a bit--as a general rule, though, we're expecting a fairly high powered game in terms of physical action. Characters are going to be more powerful in this RPG than alot of other roleplays would allow, so we're judging matters more by comparison than face value.

▪ Because we are attempting a more mature setting, things like violence, sexual content, cursing, etc., are acceptable. However, try to maintain some level of tact; just cursing and being violent for the sake of doing so isn't going to be tolerated. Try to keep things balanced and true to the character, or at least true to some interpretation of the character. If you're planning on delving excessively into adult content for a particular roleplay, try to offer some warning for those that might not be looking for that sort of thing.

▪ While I won't impose any sort of minimal word requirement, I will ask that you at least make some effort towards literacy in your posts, and maintain some semblance of a quality standard. That is, make attempts to keep your spelling and grammar in check. I know that mistakes happen, nobody's perfect and all that jazz, but that's no excuse for a complete unreadable post. Online spellcheckers aren't difficult to find, so there's no real reason for every three words to be mispelled. Likewise, your posts should be at least a paragraph or two--I won't ask for much, but I don't want to see posts that are only three sentences long.
