Salem just signed a deal with the people at "No-Doze",every person through the gate gets a super sized dose of No-Doze to keep them from falling asleep during the races.A spokesman for Salem was quoted as saying:"We here at Salem Speedway are very happy to announce that the fine folks at No-Doze will do their absolute best to keep all 326 of our fans awake during the races here, people falling asleep in the bleachers after watching people go in circles for way too many laps has long been a problem here and hopefully this will remedy that problem. We wanted to try cattle prods but that was a little to risky.Oval racing is by far the most boring type of racing in the world today and Salem is at the forefront of this incredibly boring type of racing."

Don't forget to bring your pillows,an alarm clock might come in handy too so you can wake up after the races. mysmilie_12.gif

This note: This Sunday October 3rd, they have added the Pure Stock Figure 8 division to the card. This will be the first time they have run this division.

Did anyone on here go to Salem on Sunday? On their results page, they have results for all the divisions except the Pure Stock Figure 8. I see they had 11 Pure Stocks run on the oval. From the names that were on there, looked like maybe only 4 of them would have tried the 8. Maybe they didn't even run it because of lack of cars. Anyone have answers?
