Anderson Updates 4/21/12

I'm hoping to have some updates here through the day and eas the evening rolls along. Anyone that has updates, feel free to help us out here too. As mentioned in the other thread, Jon Conklin was practicing the old Tunny car this morning at Anderson. The car is lettered up and has the number 1R on it. Ronnie Rose will probably be in this car a lot this year, but it appears that Conklin will be in it tonight. Also, Jeff Shakelford is suppose to be there in the Chris Green backup car. Rodney Sizemore is reportedly going to be racing the 92 car that Chad raced earlier in the year.

Ok. I'm not sure how I got Rose into this conversation, but it's Mike Riddle that will be in the car tonight. This is straight from Jon Conklin himself.

yeah its mike riddle I'm up here also st john... the regulars and I think jeff shack about 12 or 13 cars

Jon Conklin is in it tonite. Riddle we be in it in 2 weeks and he will be the one driving it on a reg basis.

Heard earlier that McFall blew up in qualifying and St John was having some engine woes too of some sort.

They also only have about 10 to 12 compacts there. Trying to get an update soon.

Johnny h wins over Charlie, 1,88,22. Congrats to Johnny. He was bad fast. Bedell was in a crossover crash.

wow what a race tonight 14 outlaws no stocks and they were very very fast
only 1 car stop at the x tonight . lord in 47 tons of x action tonight very fast
race only 2 cars droped out before x crash i do have on video will try and post
it if possible. first johnny hardgraves car 31 first win and he was awsome tonight
very fast should have won the last race. chris green nice car was very fast too
and won heat race came in 5 in feature. nice to shacklford out there again doing
some 4 wheeling in the grass a few times. mark tunnys old car was 3rd in feature
and sizemores old car was 4th. this race was so fast with nobody stopping. on lap
18 lord stops at x and anderson throws the yellow flag. couldnt belive it it was so
crazy fast. then lord drives on he wasnt broke or anything.but the race was very
good again with bedell battling j hardgraves then bedell and swinford crash in
the x on lap 28 of 30 laps mike stjohn car having problems again just like last
race . last year that car was fast this year its not right at all. charile not as fast
as in the past maybe grip problems he did get 2nd.

Anderson felt bad about the overall car count that they told people to bring their ticket stub next week for $5 off. Only 14 outlaws. No stocks, about 10 fwd's and the "fun" races were really sad. 4 cars in the corkscrew race, none in the backwards, 3 in the trailer race. Johnny was fast as well as bedell, but only a 30 lap race. Don't think bedell could of got him though. The guy who bought mark tunnys car finished third, and Rodney's old car finished fourth. St. John left early. Looks like he couldn't keep it running.
