World 300 rumors

Any rumors floating around out there? Looking to make the trip down.

Heard at the track this past Saturday that Jeremy Mitchell is going to try to make it. He hasn't raced all year but raced some last season in the 21 car.

I'll be checking this week to see if everybody that showed last week will be racing this week. We had 21 xtremes show up for the Midwestern. I really don't think anyone had anything major break on their cars. Gerry Isgrigg is the only one that I recall that had a lot of damage. Hopefully he can get that car back together in time.

We are looking at the possibility of 4 out of towners making the show. I'll be checking on that situation this week to see how that goes.

With the new Dromer bonus for this race, you would think that a lot of them would jump in on the fun. I'd say you are roughly looking at 7 to 13 dromers possibly. We'll pinpoint that for you as we go along this week.

Hawk is this going to start at 7pm or 8pm?

Saturday's race is scheduled for 8:05. I have a copy of the official brochure on here in the World 300 section. It has most of the info including times and the payoff.

ya but my firewall (at this undiclosed location) will not let me view it. Its weird I can get to the speedrome site, but sportsdrome, anderson, Toledo, Flatrock, and irwindale are all blocked. Not going to make it Friday, but will be down on Saturday!

supposedly the swinfords will be bringing the 99 car down for this race, ben told that raymond will be driving it, but not sure, but they will be there they said.

bartman is bringing a car down, not sure the driver....

also there is a possiblity u may see ben tunny run that race in a very good car...

i think doodle will be running, but not sure, he has a much better car this year, so hard to see him not run that race...

The Swinfords are possibly going to bring 2 cars down. And yes Raymond will be in one of them.

Bartman is not going to be coming down now. Progress has been slower than expected on getting this car ready, so he won't be able to make it.

Last I heard, Doodle wasn't going to make it either.

And yes, I have too heard something about Ben Tunny racing. I know he really wanted to race an xtreme car last week, but nothing could be worked out in a small amount of time. So yes, I could see this happening.

I'm hoping that Peters or Teepe will come down. I think the possibility is still there. Especially if they think about the $500 out of towner bonus.

Word on the street is that FlyGuy is going to kick the dogsh!t out of some punks this weekend and take all the cabbage home!

Look out people. FlyGuy has his swagger back after that 6th place finish last week. Go for it #40.

Ha! Word to the wise... Use a Canton or CLine oil pain with a rose bud pickeup. The motor/oiling issues are solved... I think. We put a new brake system on this week and changed our setup to help on entry. I think we will be in good shape. Good luck to everyone. Looking forward to it.
