IOFS TO DEBUT SUPER KARTS APRIL 21
Indianapolis, IN - March 24, 2012 - International Outlaw Figure 8 Series (IOFS) today announced that a new series will be debuting at Anderson Speedway April 21 under the IOFS umbrella. The IOFS SUPER KARTS will kick off the first of twelve events beginning at Anderson Speedway April 21. The series will visit Anderson Speedway an additional three times July 4, September 1, and the season finale October 13. The July 4 has the possibility of television on a taped delay basis with details to be announced in the near future. Other tracks on the IOFS SUPER KART schedule include four visits to Speed Creek Raceway in Lapel beginning May 5 and four dates at the Mount. Lawn Speedway near New Castle beginning May 19. The IOFS SUPER KARTS have previously competed in the Central Indiana area for over fifteen years under the NASKART and FASTKART names. The IOFS SUPER KARTS have used Speed Creek, Anderson Speedway, and the Indianapolis Speedrome as their home track at one time or another over the past several years. 2012 will mark the first time the karts have been a part of a traveling series. IOFS Series Director, Charlie Hargraves, explained the importance of adding the IOFS SUPER KARTS to the IOFS brand. " We feel the IOFS SUPER KARTS could be a good stepping stone to our Prime Design Graffix IOFS Compact series " explains Hargraves. " All three of our series will be together a few times in 2012. It will give the guys a chance to interact with each other and it offers the kart guys a chance to move up at some point.
