St. John had a tough break in the feature. The car over heated while he was leading with 10 laps to go. Before the feature the throttle linkage broke while sitting on the ramp to go out on the track.

We put on a great show last night. A lot of good racing and good close crossover action. Good clean battle at the end between Gary and Johnny.

Herd VanMeter did hurt motor, thats why he scratched. Dad left early because he said it was all pretty much over St. John had it wrapped up and rest was boring. Guess he missed the best part....lol

Thats got to be Hizers first podium in decades. That shows that speedrome cars are still the cream of the crop.

if he was in the yellow #7 that is not a speedrome car. I believe it is a Port City Late Model that he converted over. I think someone was on here a 2 years ago talking about it.

Jeff is a good figure 8 driver he knows how to stay out of trouble. In 2009 he finished 7th in IOFS points. In 2010 he finished 6th. Last season he finished 4th. He is 6th all time in top 5's in the IOFS. Last Saturday was his 3rd top 5 already this season. He is on track to have his best season this year. His worst finish this season is 8th and after last Saturday he should be in the top 5 in the IOFS regional series points.
