I hope that he is still planning on racing. I never have seen him race but I heard that he was pretty good and the Sportsdrome needs every car it can get in the Extreme Figure division. Who else have you heard that is supposed to be racin but hasn't signed up.

A few names that are out there but really don't know for sure :
Rob Cook Sam Padilla BJ Lord Micky Dunn I seen some names on the current list of registered drivers that are surprising. I've seen names show up on this list before and then they never make it out there. We'll have to see about names like: Jason Zehnder, Ray Ewing, and John Saltsgaver. I'm not familiar with that last one. Anybody know anything about him? -------------------- |

I would not count on seeing Padilla out there..Rob Cook was a middle of the pack competitor that usually had good looking cars..Never heard of Saltsgaver..

Padilla is a for sure....
So is BJ Lord... Not sure about Mickey Dunn... Never heard of the last ones.... I also heard that Rob was looking for an Extreme 8 car! |

Padilla does have alot going on and that is why he is racing, to help get away from some of that!
I heard that Zehnder is building a new car with Quintin Cummings and should be out this year! This Ray guy is running 8???? |

I know that Ray Ewing has run a lot of Dromer 8 over the past couple of years but i don't think he has been in the Xtreme 8 any. Not Yet that is. He ran the 07 car.

Last I heard Padilla, Lord, and Brian Wolfe are starting up a team together. I think that Micky Dunn is running Dromer Figure 8. Does anyone know if the two Stice brothers are still planning on running Extreme 8. Last I heard the one that bought Newkirks car is looking for an oval car and I haven't heard much about the other one.

Yeah, what BWare said about Zhender & Quentin. Ray Ewing ran SS8 at Whitesville the last couple years the were open too.

The Stice boys bought the old car that Lil' T drove and Gary Johnson is putting it together for them to run oval . I don't know what happen to the old Newkirk car....
So, is Ray running oval or 8 this year? |

Matt Stice has the old Newkirk car. They have done a lot of work to it this winter but he said he would like to trade it to someone for an oval car. He'd like to go to Salem I think. If he doesn't find anything before the season, then he's gonna go ahead and race some figure 8 with it.

BWare. Ray is going to run the 8. He is going to put a motor & body on my old car. He is still a little ways off but should make it before too long. I think he will do ok. He is a smooth driver that drives with his head.
