Basic Physical Description: Blue skin, forked tail, brown baggy trousers, two fingers and one thumb on each hand, two toes on each foot. Pointy teeth.

Mutant Powers: Nightcrawler is a mutant who can teleport by opening a portal into another dimension, travelling through it via an unconscious direction-finding sense, and returning to his own dimension. When teleporting, Nightcrawler leaves behind a small portion of the atmosphere of the other dimension that escapes with a muffled “bamf” sound and smells of brimstone. On returning, his power automatically displaces any extraneous liquids and gases. Through practice, Nightcrawler has increased the mass he can teleport with him, though the limit to the amount of weight he can carry when teleporting and the distance over which he can teleport with such additional loads are unknown. Teleporting with Nightcrawler often leaves a passenger feeling weak and nauseous.

Other Abilities/ talents: Nightcrawler is an Olympic-class acrobat thanks to his flexible spine that allows him to perform contortionist-like feats and to go long periods in a semi-crouching position without injury. He is a skilled hand-to-hand combatant and a master at fencing, which he can even perform with his tail, which is strong enough to support his entire body weight.

Basic History: Kurt Wagner was born with certain unusual physical characteristics, but his power of self-teleportation did not emerge until puberty. Margali Szardos, a sorceress and gypsy queen, allegedly found Wagner an hour after his birth, in a small roadside shelter in the Bavarian Alps. She claimed to have found his father, Eric Wagner, (who was thought to be his father) dead of a heart attack on the road outside, and Wagner's mother lying next to the baby and dying, but this claim was later called into question and has now been shown to be false. This is mainly because it has been proven that his mother is the terrorist Mystique, Raven Darkholme and his father is the warlord Azazel. Mystique revealed that she threw him into a river after a huge mob found out about Nightcrawler's existence, and Azazel admitted that he secretly saved his son from the fall, giving him to his lover and crony, Margali, to raise for him. Margali took the baby to the small Bavarian circus where she worked as a fortuneteller as a "cover" for her activities as a sorceress. Wagner was never legally adopted by anyone, but was raised by all the members of the circus, who had no prejudices against "freaks." Margali acted as Wagner's unofficial foster mother.
Wagner grew up happily in the circus, and his two closest friends were Margali's natural children Stefan and Jimaine. Long before his teleportation power emerged, Wagner had tremendous natural agility, and by his adolescence he had become the circus's star acrobat and aerial artist. Circus audiences assumed that he was a normal-looking human being wearing a demon-like costume. At the age of fourteen, Kurt was found by proffessor Xaviour and brought into the school.

Sample RP: Nightcrawler twisted in mid air and landed on his feet on the roof of a car. He somersaulted, flipping backwards over himself to land behind the car.
He heard the thumping of the robotic feet on the ground as they marched towards him. He gripped his swords and pulled them off of his belt, before teleporting with a bamf! To land on the back of one of the white robots. He flipped his right sword into the air and caught it upside down, before stabbing it into the robot’s head. Sparks flew out and Nightcrawler teleported onto a high tree branch just before the robot exploded and a shard of metal flew into a different robot, short circuiting it and causing it to fall down. The remaining robots looked about the jungle for Kurt, pointing they’re weapons this way and that, trying to find any trace of that pointy tail or those yellow eyes.

The third robot’s head slid off of it’s shoulder’s before it knew what had happened, and kurt was gone again. Two more robots remained. Time for some quick combat.
BAMF! Kurt was in front of the fourth robot. He jumped up and swung his leg around, kneeing the robot in the face. BAMF! And he was behind the last one. He punched the robot in the back, cutting it’s circuits and making It fault. He kicked it towards the fourth robot and…
BOOM!
The danger room simulation finished as Kurt placed his swords back. He rubbed his belly, muttering about pizza, and walked out.
