Hi everyone,

Now that Arenea has recovered the Sign of Chaos in her last thread, this seems a good time to place First Light on hiatus. Rather than explain the details of what happens next, I hope to finish the campaign in two face to face sessions in Australia sometime next year.

I think this is what burnout must feel like. I feel I have run out of the juice that helps me do the best I can for the game. For now I have no more I can give it, at least not in its current board posting format.

Running Yeesha’s story by MSN Messenger has given me renewed energy for a different direction. I will be running Yeesha and possibly Karen’s Gideon to a natural conclusion of their storylines in this way. These threads will continue to be posted to the board, for however long they run.

This is the not the end of the story. It is instead a transformation into something else for a while. The conclusion awaits us, and I trust it will be a satisfying one.

I appreciate your continual dedication to playing in the game. I’ve learned a lot from running it, and I hope you’ve enjoyed playing it.
