Uptown member Jessica H.O is was caught dissing BoA on her myspace. She had written messages to SM's trainee Stella Kim's myspace saying "Why do you want to meet BoA for?" "My cousin had Girls on Top written on her shoes and I thought i was gonna stab her" and also "When is supergirls gonna debut?Man i feel sorry for you guys, you guys are better than that!" The people from Jessica's entertainment did not realize this would cause such and outrage between the netizens. They also confessed that two of the messsages were written before Jessica's debut and one of them was written after her debut. Jessica said that BoA and Yoon Mi Leh are two singers that she really looks up to and she didn't intend to say these things.

After the 3 messages being released to the public, Jessica H.O. finally apologized officially saying "BoA unni I'm sorry!" She said that this was probably because of her extreme jelousy of BoA's career.

Goodness. This is so superfluous. But Jessica should have had a bit more common sense and tact. After all, these are Korean netizens we're talking about. They can start an anti rally in less than a second.

It may hurt her career a bit, especially since she was already compared with BoA from the beginning (just like 99% of all female gasoos that focus on the teen pop scene)-- most of all because she hasn't even been out a year. Her career has just begun.

I suppose it's ok nows since she did say sorry and everything.... but i wished Jess'd be a nicer person you know.... I mean she's not that popular either.....

I've seen these a couple of times. As an artist, she should know better than to publicly bash another artist like that.

Regardless if it was before or after her debut really doesn't make much of a difference. She was training for years under Doremi since she was to be a singer, so she nevertheless should have had a bit more tact than bashing one of the highest paid gasoos. She was an upcoming singer-- she didn't think her comments would get out until after she became a gasoo? Not very smart. And on MySpace? Craziness.

Anything online, especially if it's on a popular and publicized site like that can be seen by anyone is just a method for disaster. Especially if it's bashing someone. When I took a quick glance at her MS, I thought it was a bit questionable since people were leaving all sorts of messages on her comment box. I know they might be her friends (her fans were the ones with the safe comments), but she still should have been more careful of her image. Anything that's on her site, regardless if she says it or not should be monitored. Because that can give one a bad first impression of her. After all, she hadn't debuted-- anything could be used against her at that stage. Like I'll say again, not very smart.

Oh well. Hopefully she's learned her lesson.

LOLS, this is hilarious. Well, I agree that Jessica was being mean for dissing someone like that esp. when she knows how much work a singer has to do to make it big in the industry but everybody made such a big deal about it just cus its Boa, or maybe its just me. :)
