Within only several days of notice from the IDPD's (Immortal Darfael Police Department) sources within the country's government and hasty breaking news warnings from the television and radio; Darfael had been exterminated. There was no way to evacuate everyone. The warnings had come at last minute for a reason; to catch all immortals off guard and to wipe out as many as possible. It was genocide. Never did I expect the humans to turn their back on us and do something like this. I suppose it was out of the Darfael city board's hands. The orders had come from higher and there was no time to do anything about it. Everyone could only worry about escaping.

It still shocks me, scares me, angers me, and most of all...saddens me. They wanted to kill us so badly that they even were willing to sacrifice human life. It's despicable what they did. Thankfully, there was some good that came out of this. Well, at least a step in the right direction. Immortals are finally making the effort to band together. For the time being, things have been peaceful between the lycans and vampires. While there is still animosity and hostility; violence towards one another is at a surprising all time low. However, other crimes are on the rise. People are scrambling for stability and the affects can be seen in all neighboring countries to Darfael but none so much as Budapest, Hungary.

That is where the majority of Darfael's survivors moved to. It's a growing and beautiful city; much like Darfael was. We will make it our home and help to develop it even further as well as take special provisions to protect ourselves. It has been a month since Darfael's destruction and if dealing with the aftermath of that was not enough; it has come to my attention that there is a new threat in this world. This threat is something completely new to everyone and yet it is not new; it's always been. I plan to approach this much the same as I approached an alliance with lycans; still, I am reluctant. This 'celestial' force seems to have a lot of variety within itself. I must learn more before I finally take action.

In addition to that, I also have to reestablish myself as a prince in Budapest. As reality would have it; Budapest already has an immortal royal family; lycan and vampire; Farkas and Rosza. There is no room for so many royals and there is no way to retain my power over the people when there is already a power here. While I still possess almost all of my assets and power; without a country or people to lead; I hold no bearings to the Rosza royal family. I have no choice but to pledge my allegiance. I will still remain a prince but I must pass my crown to Selik Von Vasser. He must marry the next royal in line for the crown and then Darfael and Budapest will be one. I feel it is too soon for young Selik; but it is the only way for us to remain royals and for the Rosza family to gain allegiances from the Darfael refugees whose trust lies only with me. Selik understands this and has unwaveringly accepted his responsibility to Darfael. He will be a king and thankfully I will be around to advise him. I trust he will carry forth my will for our once great city.
