I was referred to this site from 4 paws and then some.

I've had GPS's for years but never really looked into geo-caching until about a month ago. Been having a fun and slightly frustrating time finding them around GP so far!

Hi there Turcott. Like you, I was referred to the forum by 4 PATS. And like you, I've had a lovely GPS doing absolutely nothing (since about 2004). I learned about geocaching at the Alberta Scout Jambouree in 2003, purchased a GPS and little "tailgate" BBQ in 04, and that was all (well, except a couple of BBQ outings). Then, I wanted to try doing something new with our Girl Guide group for our year-end camp this June, and figured I'd be better try this out. Well, I'm seriously hooked!

Happy caching
