30 Ammo Cans within 30 kms of Slave Lake and no further than 300m from a driveable road.
Sounds easy right. You would be mistaken.Slave Lake area is a mix of muskeg rolling hills old and new fire burned areas, oil and gas roads that dead end and great bush.Spruce poplar pine balsam and willow.
This is a beautiful area in Alberta and we have an event coming up on August 01 2008 long weekend.
Come one come all we have a huge campsite arranged and a bathrooms in a hall with running water.Fire pits and a town of 7000 people right here. Not to mention nearly 100 caches in the vicinity of the town. That should keep you busy.

GC1Bk8A...check it out folks
Please come down if you can.

You did a good job at posting on all the forums.

We are going to the event. Its good that caching finally caught on in slave lake. 2 years ago when we cached here last there were only 15 caches that had bad coords and not well maintained. Now it great! Slave Lake is a nice area, full of history.

*drools* I'm going to do everything in my power to take time off then. Hopefully I'm not in Fort Nelson. Thanks for posting!
