Amateur E3 |

GameCraft has proposed to long-term company affiliates a widespread social event that will bring previous competitors together.
The event will function like normal E3- every participant will have to enter some contribution. The scale of the contribution isn't set- it could be an announcement, or an entire game (although it is generally a good idea to bring something significant, else it won't bring much attention to you). The event will take place on August 30th, but the date is flexible and it will be changed so that as many potential entries as possible can make it.
Notes:
- EVERYTHING in your entry must be original. That means no copyrighted music, no borrowed graphics, or anything of the sort. It must be original. (An exception is made if the graphics or sounds were created for being used in your project, but you must give credit)
- You can't enter before or after the specified date.
- One representative from each company will vote on each game's nomination. There are several nomination categories, and each game will be voted into a least one of these categories- however, a category can have no nominees if no entry was particularly outstanding in that category- and one category can have several. One game, however, can't have no nominations. Each entry has to be recognized for something.
- One person from every entry has to be a part of the voting.
The categories are: Best Graphics, Best Sound, Best Concept, Best Storyline, Best Presentation, Best Programming, Best Interface, and Best Topic.
Discuss the specifics here.

Confirmed studio involvement:
1- Anaglyph Gaming 2- Bored Studios 3- Squidoctober 4- Phantom 5- Creepy Alien Games 6- Flamewave Gaming 7- Biotech Game Productions 8- Spirit Software Architecture |

Welcome to GameCraft |

GameCraft is the miscellaneous videogame developers' advice, showcase and discussion community. Here you can review other's work, post your own game, and collaborate on an entirely new project. If you follow the simple rules outlined below, your experience on GameDev will be enjoyably clean and productive.
Do not discuss explicit material. This includes porn, hentai, drugs, or any type of media that would make your little sister feel uncomfortable.
Do not include inappropriate material in your videogames, art, or music. Vaguely adult themes are permitted as long as it doesn't get out of hand.
Do not ridicule a fellow developer because you find his/her performance unimpressive. Constructive criticism is the goal of this forum; spurting opinions is something you can do at home.
Make your posts intelligible. Not everybody is gifted with the art of grammar and spelling, but at least try to use a proper, readable format to ensure fluid communication.
Every participant on this forum must follow the rules. This includes Admins, Board Monitors, and ordinary members. Nobody is above the rules.
Most importantly, have fun! This board is a great starting point for your specialized Videogame Development team, or a place to hang out and chat with people who share your interests. Don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.
