We are looking into getting the latest pinball machine to hit the market, Stern's DARK KNIGHT pinball, based upon the smash hit movie of the same name.

We have an investor that is looking into investing into this so it's not locked down yet but it certainly is a possibility. This game is very cool where it has a movable crane that grabs the pinball with a magnet; a spinner toy with the Joker inside (he moves too); a Scarecrow and Batman toy. There is even a hot wheels or MicroMachines Batmobile where you race against it with the pinball.

For more info, look here.

Can't wait to see when it comes in. I'll have to keep an ear to the ground for it, won't I? I'll drag my father in when it's a done-deal.

Yeah, I think he'll love it. At the moment I'm not sure if we'll get it or not, I'm going back and forth between a DDR and this. I'd love to get both really, after playing Batman a few more times I have to say that it's really good.

Well, between this and the DDR, my vote is with the pinball machine. Despite my enjoyment I think the rather "unknown" of pinball might draw in a crowd. That said, the music from DDR would probably drive you crazy after 30 days.

It's always going to be a tough call. At least pinball is beginning to see a small resurgence in popularity and of course the Batman theme is nearly timeless and Dark Knight is insanely popular. I'll have to keep weighing the options...
