Harry Potter, Snape: Freind or Foe?

haha...you so knew it would happen! I don't knwo if anyone on here is a HP fan, but those of you who are and have read all the books thus far I was wondering what your opinion was about Snape. Freind? Or Foe?

Ha, my mum's yelling at me because I've been playing Wicked songs all day. Ahem.

As for Snape, I think he'll probably end up a good guy but that doesn't make him my friend. Evil or good, he's an unpleasant sort of fellow.

Dummy probably made him promise to keep his real identity a secret among the Death Eaters even if it meant betraying Dumbledore. Plus there's the issue of the charm Snape used to protect Malfoy. If he had gone with Dumbledore he would've revealed himself as on the good side and would then not be able to protect Malfoy when Voldy exploded at him for failing to kill Dumbledore.

I agree. I think the only reason he realy betrayed Dumbledore and everyone was because of his Unbreakable Vow (or what ever it's called) with Malfoy's mother. If he hadn't then he would have placed Malfoy in danger and he would have revealed himself as a spy, which he was probably all ready thought of as.

I also think that perhaps it was all staged, and we haven't exactly gotten the whole story yet...?

Well who else thought that ending was a bit crappy?

I feel cheated out of an emotional, bitter-sweet ending. You know, like in Wicked.

Personally I loved it, thought it was her best yet. It kept me captivated from beginning to end, and had me sobbing, laughing and soibbing some more. The only depressing thing is that this is it!!
