You just reminded me I need to go edit some of the details about the Dahl's ^^;;. A few things have changed from what I had in my run away comments on dA. LOL. Pinky is what the Fae would call a Baby-Dahl. They're usually pretty harmless when they're this young. She'd be roughly 4 days old. The thing is they tend to 'lure' people into traps with how cute and curious they are and full grown Dahl's take advantage.

XD and thanks! You're gonna get your Apple-boy fill in the next few pages and chapter five!

LOL! Whatever you're thinking is probably really close to being right. It's a long ways off story wise, but the Dahls get involved in some.... disturbing and... terrible things.

I'm curious on who this Glenn is. Obviously - according to Apple-Boy's thought process - this person is someone who wouldn't like to have a Dahl killed... again.
Hearing that you have made a few changes to the Dahl, I'm really interested in seeing the reason why Glenn would be upset at this.
But then again, killing a cute flower-kid does look wrong, no matter what it is.

Awesome page! I love the lighting you put behind Apple-boy, and the effect of it dissolving away as he regains his cool. I have to admitt, though, that - when following the light-colored text bubbles - I nearly missed the part on panel 5, when he says, "She's j-just a little kid..." It seems a little dark where the words are - maybe the text could be lightened up a bit to stand out.

Other than that, good job!

I got the impression that that was denoting some sort of horrible angsty flashback-y backstory....or maybe I just watch too much angsty anime :P

I just brought myself up to speed by reading the info on the Dhalz . . . 0_o are you really gonna draw rape scenes or will it just be strongly implied? I also read somewhere on DA that Apple-boy/Myth and Hanz get captured by the Dhalz and Vielle has to save them lol that'd be pretty funny . . . and kinda awkward

Okay, I know FG is REALLY tame right now, but some of the subject matter gets really heavy. It wouldn't be rape but more so... being molested? The Dahlz touch and grab a lot but it's to hold DOWN their victims. They don't actually have sex. They really are just flowers XD;. And yes, Vielle will have to save some guys from them later.

Eventually I'll get the Bestiary up but here's some info on the Dahlz.

They aren't male or female. In playing with the Mother Nature theme though, they resemble females. Their scent (they smell like flowers or sugar) lures male Fae. The Dahlz reproduce by sucking the life force out of people. They can easily do this to female Fae but it's harder to lure them in XD;;. They do take on masculine physiques too but it's very rare. Sometimes the more male looking Dahlz will capture Fae and take them back to nests of 'females'. (Let your imagination run wild with that little tidbit). And as sexist as it sounds, a person is more likely to trust a cute little girl than they are a cute little boy. Pinky could easily be a 'boy'. LOL! But the pink flower cap-hair makes everyone think she's a girl!


Apple-boy isn't fooled.

I dont think Vielle is dead, and if she is, she wont remain that way or the story would be over. Besides, willow said she'd be safe while she was there. I'm assuming that means everything will be alright.

I am really anxious about finding out how Vielle is, cause it looked like she sustained a nasty injury. Not to mention passing out during a fight for her life.
And I'm kinda annoyed that Apple Boy has forgotten about Vielle. After all, he's the one that got her into that predicament

Sounds like Apple-boy's got some issues on trusting people. Now this is very interesting... I wonder what had happened to him to make him think that way? Had he been 'used' by others before? I'm glad we got to see another layer to his character now.
