Passenger Group: Members Posts: 4 Member No.: 24 Joined: 6-August 05	The beginning of the Serenity Best Buy Preview Disc has the explanation from the beginning of the film of how the Alliance came to be and where they went following when Earth was used up. If you're interested I can post screen captures of the system map and type out a quick transcript for the teacher's explanation. -Erik

Teacher: The central planets formed the Alliance and now everyone can enjoy the comfort and enlightenment of true civilization. Joss: The forming of the Alliance causes a power so great that there is no way that it can justly rule over the entire universe.
