Everythings fine, just dropping in really to say hi etc.

Looking forward to october 7th over here in England, gonna be a good day. Ive recently made my girlfriend a fan aswel via DVD, she wants to see what hapens to River especially, but shes now a browncoat and is looking forward to seeing things unfold.

Serenity looks to be good, although over here all i have read in magazines are bad or un-decisive views, so really, ive just got my own gut instinct to go by until i see it, which is the best instinct to follow with a show/movie franchise like Firefly just as i have done with Trek etc.

One review said that the movie spinoff was not well written was shakey at most points with a real anti-climax ending. But as i said above, im not paying attention to the reviews so they can shove their critics in front of 'Vera'

Another point, whats the quality of the merchandise such as figures/statues, posters etc becuase i havnt seen anything listed on ebay or sci fi sites. Just wondered if i had missed anything.

On my art...

My Tardis project is about to have a dose of Serenity influence, if youre interested in putting in some input.

I want the design to reflect some aspects of the ship, like the dining area and living quarters. Basically, i dont want clean cut white walls, white floor etc, i want some real grit to the look of it just like the interior of Serenity. Especially the living quarters, i really want that drop-down door look to be incorperated in some way, i just need a few ideas thrown at me cos my threads run out of gas by the looks of it.

If you dont watch Dr. Who dont worry, but i could do with a hand in generating ideas for the look of it.

The action figures are fairly bad, from what I've seen.

I'll make some suggestions if you give me a link. Little busy with this project at the moment, though.

Will do.

Click Me

Theres no rush as i dont have access to my own computer and thus cant actually update the project, im having to rely on good ol' MSPaint at college to do crappy little picture manips etc. eusa_wall.gif

Oh yeah, on the merchandise side of things, ive seen a lot of serenity based comics up on ebay, the art looks fantastic, but whats the content like becasue i havnt seen any in comic shops over here, ive only seen the covers.
Only reason im asking is because i was going to bid on one for the hell of it just so i could nab a bit of the movie.

Any input on that side.

PS.
The only reason im asking here and not any other forum is becuase its not so busy in here, like the trek forum, and its easier for me to keep track of my thread without me losing it.

Thanks

How much they going for on EBAY? You can still get copies from TFAW.com for 2.99 +S&H. I got all the comics except the Zoe Cover (I got to order it from TFAW pay day rolleyes.gif ) and they were good, it definitely got me in the mood too see the movie. biggrin.gif

Well, on Ebay they are going from £0.99 - £15.

They had a pack of all the covers in a presentation binder up for £24, but that was a little steep as im on a student budget.

But all i can say about them so far is the cover art is fantastic, dont know about the art inside whether it varies or not.

On the darkhorse website you can see the first four pages of each comic.
