Windows users, Report crashes here

The main issue I've been seeing so far is crashes by the Windows version.

Report where and how they happen in this thread.

I experinced a CTD at Svendo. Here is the Debug log:

The Svendo problem should be fixed when this latest version is uploaded.

I installed the new files and I got a crash at Airel.

Can you also check:
Crateris Moon in the Crateris system
Hera in the Hera system
Higgin's Moon in the system of that name
Triumph in the Triumph system
Osiris in the Osiris system
Skyplex in the Ezra system
Ezra in the Ezra system

Those are some of the ones which I suspect might also cause trouble, but I'm not sure about. The "fix" for this problem increases file size, so I'd rather not implement it everywhere unless it really is a bug.

Hera worked in the old and new verson.

I'll check those latter tonight.

Ive crashed on Paquin, Athens, Whitefall and another of Athens's moons.

The skyplex and Ezra is working.

Ok, I've downloaded the plugin, and have tried it out. I'm loving it already, even though I've only seen the intro and one planet. How I wish there were more episodes of Firefly. Only thing is you might like to make that intro movie a cinematic (set the "Movie is a cinematic" flag) because I can still see the third screen of the intro behind it.

Also, how recent is the PC archive? I just downloaded that (not the separate Universe files) and it crashed on Beylix (spöb 144). That's as far as I've managed to get so far, because I need to run off and do something else.

They're showing Firefly on TV in Australia at the moment, you know. It's at 12:30 in the morning, but at least they're showing it.

Edit: Ah wait... the intro movie is set to be a cinematic. PC Nova bug?

Edit 2: Crashes on Hybaria (spöb 174) too.

Could be a WinNova bug. I'll ask at the Ambrosia boards.

Do you recall which of the other moons it was? (Might have been both, I suppose, but I'm not certain.)

I'm going to try an experiment. I'm going to encode the image for Sira (one of Athens' moons) as a TIFF. Let me know if that causes a crash in the next version, which I'll upload sometime tonight.

If TIFF works, then I could save some disk space by using that instead of BMP.

EDIT: I'm doing the same experiment with Hybaria. I've re-encoded it as a TIFF. However, I've selected Photoshop's "Use LZW Encoding" option on Sira, but not on Hybaria.
