Firefly ship plug

I'm new to the boards, so please forgive me for busting in here and asking questions. Have you all made (or could you make) a ship plug in that allows one to purchase and fly a Firefly-class ship in the regular EVN universe? I would be sooo happy if that were possible, and it seems that you all are the only ones that could do it. Thanks for your time.

It would be exceptionally easy to do that. I'm sure someone will just as soon as we release something.

I'm hesitant to do it now, but I'll think about it.

Ooh I'm so itching for it. It would be a nice teaser for the compete total conversion. Do you know if there's any update on when it might be released (or a beta release)?

Let me second this. That firefly looks AMAZING. I want it. New to this side of things, just saw a failed firefly plug on the official site, so I decided to look for the ship and found your FANTASTIC mod. Definatly looks like a keeper. I love the attention to detail (Wash's Dinosaur's.... YES.)

Please, if somebody somehow would just upload a plugin with a buyable Firefly somewhere... I will be eternally grateful. I know how long modding takes, and how you want it to be the best product it can be, but in the meantime, I would be ecstatic at the release of a plugin with just the ship.

Also, good look with the full mod! I'll definatly keep an eye out.

The entire Part 1 storyline occurs before Wash joins up, actually. The use of the dinos on that sidebar is something we may add for Part 2 though.

I'm thinking a teaser release with just the ship might be doable at this point, actually.

Would you mind pointing me to this "failed" project you mention?

Please do, the immersion is AMAZING. Also, I was curious as to if you where going to use the ships from the Firefly roleplaying game (Tabletop). Dragonfly etc etc. ?

We haven't taken any ships from there per se. Most of ours are from the TV show, movie, or original designs. I wouldn't mind adding them if anyone has or is willing to make 3D models of those, however.

The ship plug will be ready soon. The shuttle launch sound is still corrupted, but everything else seems to work fine.

I've uploaded the Firefly Ship Mod to the Ambrosia Add-Ons directory. I'll post when it's been approved.

I just found out about this plug in for EV:Nova. I played the original EV when it was first released and am delighted to see there is still some support for it. I just downloaded the plug and attempted to use it in a Mac. I used Mission Computer to save it in the Mac format. I can buy the ship but cannot purchase anything from the outfitters including maps, etc. for it. Someone posted a fix on Ambrosia's website and that seems to work correctly.
