That's probably doable. I'd have to play around to figure it out. I know someone's made a flak weapon though, so it shouldn't be much trouble.

The Magnetic Grappler should be in already, although I haven't tested its settings or made it a default outfit on any ships.

I saw what I thought was a place holder for it since I couldn't purchase it or most of the other outfits.

When I put that in, I didn't have any other ships available to test it on. Now that I do, I'll work out the bugs.

New versions of Firefly Missions and Firefly Universe 1 available. Some minor galaxy restructuring, added two systems and three planets, and extended the storyline slightly.

I can't guarantee that the last storyline mission added so far will work properly. I don't know enough about how the engine deals with "board ship" missions. I might need to make a new dude that starts disabled for that to work.

Also, most Chang missions now only begin and end in Quadrant 2 of the galaxy---the top-left.

Uploaded new versions of most files. I've been doing numerous payscale, ship stat, and interface tweaks, as well as fixing a number of mission bugs.

You can now remove all Nova Data files from the equation. (Keep the Nova Graphics files, though. Haven't tested the other ones.) You do have to watch your credits, though----with the currently defined missions, you can run out easily, especially early on.

Putting up a new Firefly Universe 3 as well, with a landing picture added for the Trading Post.

Fixed the link to Firefly Universe 3. I had run out of disk space, so I deleted the Windows archive. No real need for it since the files were already there.

New version of Firefly Ships 1 is up as well, but not indicated on the index page.

New versions of Firefly Ships 1 & 2 are up. I'll continue working on Firefly Outfits tonight----I want to get that further along.

New versions of most files up again. Hopefully all bugs so far are fixed, although I haven't tested the torpedo yet. Also, I'm not certain whether my modification to the derelicts at Sturges will actually prevent them from being boarded.

New versions up. The biggest changes are in Firefly Missions and Firefly Outfits. I have not tested the missions yet---they may still have bugs. The "retrieve valuables from the mail" mission may be missing a dialog box (I'm not sure I did that right).

The last mission so far---Chang's Departure---doesn't actually end. It just starts. So don't fly anywhere before backing up your pilot, because nothing will happen when you get there.

New versions up.

The "boaring ships at Sturges" bug seems to still be an issue, as does the "ships become randomly hostile" bug. I made an effort to fix both of these, but with no luck so far.

The big changes this time are a couple of new planets and systems, a short extension of the storyline, and some minor tweaking of a few things like the intro screens to fit better with the movie's continuity.

There's a storyline option you have at one point. Either path leads to the same result, but one is most definitely "better" than other monetarily. In case you've lost track, the new missions begin on Trasker's End after you've met up with Capshaw on Pentwyk.

New versions up.

I've tried something to fix the "random ASREV attacks" bug. What I did should not work. But maybe it will. Nothing else seems to be causing it.

Might it be something in the default EVN files that is causing it? I don't know much about EVN moding so I could be totaly wrong.

It could be. Likely isn't, but it's remotely possible.

Next time I update, I'm going to add some default weapons. When that happens, this will become more of a problem, and thus my motivation to solve it will be greater. On the plus side, it will allow me to figure out if there's a pattern to this behavior more easily.
