No ideas just yet. I just got back from my Serenity watching trip out of town. Wacky fun! I had my Jayne hat on and everything. thumbsup.gif

I did have another idea about the new and old flags. The new one is a Government (civilian and police) flag and the old one is a Military Flag like a naval ensign or jack. BTW before you say it was on cargo in two episodes it could have been transported on a naval ship and was given that flag in transit. ... maybe I making too big a deal about this. rolleyes.gif

Not too worried about the flag. It could just be a seal or something, like the US Eagle.

Anyway, Haven added.

QUOTE (GunRunner @ Sep 14 2005, 01:20 AM)
Oh yea and Lilac shows up in the movie for sure, along with 'Miranda'.

I don't think that 'Miranda' should be included in a Prequel Game. People who have seen the movie should know why.

I can't make my suggestions about what to do with Miranda without releasing Spoilers, but I will say it shouldn't be easy to get to.

Now that I've seen the movie I agree. Since no one knows where it is, no one would intentionally go there so no point in having it in game.

Miranda is not going to be easy to get to. I'm considering making it an "off-limits planet", in fact. But it'll be there for completeness.

Added a new graphic for Regina, Lilac and Shadow.

If, while flying around, you think there are too many planets that use a given graphic----let me know. I can swap out the graphic for one of these new ones easily enough.

There was one thing I noticed a while ago. All the worlds have Star Trekish classes (Class M, Class C Tectonic or whatever). It needs to be more Fireflyish like 'Dirtball Moon', or 'Fancy Rock'

As soon as I figure out which STR# resource stores that information, I'll fix it.

Hera's landing picture is now taken from the "Serenity" deleted scene, rather than the battle.

I'm thinking of sticking in a wormhole back to Sol somewhere on the outer rim. Any thoughts on that idea? Maybe stick it in Reaver space to make it hard to get to.

I was thinking there could be a wormhole on the other side of the map. Like beyond that unterraformed world near Captain's Rest. But put it away from the center of the map so its hard to find. Maybe that system with the stars that sucks the player in if he goes beyond the safe area? Put them behind one so the player needs to navigate around the stars to find it. But any located would be fine.

Oh speaking of Earth, I think I said this before but maybe there should be SDI like killer satellites left in orbit that will attack the player. Also a few Earth-That-Was derelicts floating around like a Soyuz space capsule.

If you can find/make appropriate models, I have no problem adding such things. (Or images. I think I can make still images work as "rubber stamps" on the background.) But since we're trying to make it hard to find, that's rather low on my priority list at the moment.

Well since its hard to get to the player should be rewarded. Maybe if the player boards one of the derlicts they could salvage some stuff. Like a spacesuit or something that a ETW collector would want to buy.
