UPDATE

I have an update, and unfortunately it's not good. Fay has dropped over 20 inches on rain on Daytona Beach, Florida. Power outages are expected from Jacksonville to St. Augustine. Flood warnings are in effect. Also, tropical storm watches and warnings are present on Florida's east coast. Fay is getting stronger, so everyone who lives on Florida's east coast, be careful.

A bit of good news in the middle of this, though. On an island just east of Florida, a couple is preparing to get married right in the middle of Fay. They are prepared with umbrellas (and "lots of hairspray" XD) incase Fay DOES drop a lot of rain on their wedding. Some residents think they are absolutely CRAZY to do this. They say they will get married, and I quote, "Hell, high water, or hurricane!" I wish both of them luck. smile.gif

TROPICAL DOUBLE TROUBLE!!!

Tropical Storm Gustav is heading for New Orleans... VERY bad news... And it may be a Cat. 5 hurricane....

Now, we have Tropical Storm Hannah. This is heading for the east coast. I know the Carolinas have gotten a lot of rain, and more is on the way...

Tropical Storm Gustav is expected to be become a Category 3 hurricane, AKA a major hurricane before making landfall on the Gulf Coast. New Orleans should be evacuating very soon, as this is going to be a big storm.
