History: Blitz Von Krieg was born 22 years ago in the summer, to Kirce and Achilles. He was a happy child and lived in a small village near Teranaie. His father was a soldier in the King's personal guard, and his mother was a teacher. He grew up knowing how to fight from a very young age - his father teaching him how to use a bow when he was four years old. His mother had instilled in him a love of learning, and he read often about how to do things. He always said he wanted to be a teacher when he grew up.

When he was only five years old though, the village was attacked by slavers. His father died in the fight as he was home on leave, and his mother was captured along with him. His brother, Donner, managed to escape but he never found out how or where to. They were taken a long distance and sold to a man called Sir Edward. Blitz instantly disliked the man, but could do little to nothing other than follow the orders he was given - though he often heard the guards call him a "scrappy little runt" when he did try and go against someone's wishes.

The longer he stayed as Edward's servant, the more he grew to hate the man. On more than one occasion he'd seen him handling his mother and other slave girls in ways he knew his father would certainly not have approved of or stood for. There was one slave girl though that he looked to like an older sister - her name was Evelina. He rarely spoke to her, being a shy boy in his childhood, but she was something akin to a hero to him. She was older, smarter, and she was pretty. He wasn't attracted to her though, which also made her seem more like a sister to him. The only one time he ever really did anything though, was one of the times Edward tried to have his way with her - he started beating on Edward's leg with his little fists and shouting 'leave her alone!' at the man. For all his effort though he got brushed away with the man's backhand.

It was in that very moment that Blitz decided he would not be a slave for the rest of his life - that one day, he would get out, and one day, he would get rid of these slavers. As the years passed he watched as Eve gained fame as a warrior in Edward's guard, and was dishearted by the fact. He'd hoped that one day she might lead them to freedom, but now it only seemed that she would do as their captors were doing. At thirteen, Blitz had finally decided to start raising an army of his own - he was going to lead a revolution.

As well, he'd wormed his way into Edward's circle of trust. The man had seen Blitz's potential and decided that Blitz was to be taught by the same tutors as his own children. Not only that, but he had full access to Edward's library - and all the magic books containted therein. The young teen took advantage of it all, and studied military manuals, magic books, martial arts, and even convinced Edward to allow him practice on an archery range. The sly boy tricked Edward into treating him like a son. Little did the man know that the boy was going to turn against him.

It was when Blitz turned twenty that he was presented with his chance. Eve had taken flight from Aerios on night, Blitz didn't know why, but didn't have time to care. That very night he made his move. Over the years he and other slaves had gained access to certain areas of the home that most were not allowed into: the armoury, library, and stables - just to name a few. As the excitement of trying to catch Eve got underway, Blitz rallied his troops and had them rush the armoury, stables, and guard quarters. The guards were quickly overwhelmed, but soon enough they were mounting a decent defense.

Blitz had his troops move in small groups, squads of five or so, and take up firing positions from towers and other high places. He'd trained all of them as archers, and had developed a special type of bow, and better, an arrow that could pierce straight through shields. The guards couldn't figure out what to do. In the midst or the battle and confusion though, Blitz left his second in command in charge and rushed off to find Edward - and kill him.

He found and cornered him in a hallway. Edward unsheathed his sword, but Blitz and his arrows were faster as he sent one through the man's shoulder - pinning him to the wall as he said "That one's for all the people you've hurt. This one,". Next an arrow through the wrist of the hand that still held the sword, pinning the arm to the wall and making Edward drop the sword as he groaned in agony, "is for my parents. This one," he fired again, this time the arrow slicing through his crotch, "is for Eve, and this one... this one is for me." the last one went right between Edward's eyes..

The battle was soon over, and after all the supplies and things that could be taken were taken, they made to leave as they set the grounds on fire. For the next year or so he travelled around, killing slavers and liberating the slaves; growing his army as he did so. His troops became renound for their skill with bow and arrow, and for the very weapons they used. Few military units were ever dispatched to engage them, as the first few that did were torn to ribbons. Soon enough though, Blitz and his mixed troops ventured to Elafa and Blitz was given a commision as an officer in the King's army. Due to the size of the unit under his command and his experience, he was made second in command of the army. His troops are considered to be perhaps the most elite in all of Amana - despite the fact that they have been engaged no sizeable military action as of yet.

Roleplay Sample:
Blitz smiled as he stood on the railing of the HMS Immortal, leaning to the side out over the waves, his only lifeline incase he should slip being the single rope in his hand. He loved the feel of the sea breeze and the mist coming off the bow as the Immortal raced through the water. Neverland was a wondrous place, and while most pirates hated it, Blitz and his crew embraced it for what it was. Neverland was immortality. It was sanctuary from your fears, or it was supposed to be anyhow. And despite those that would see this place done a foul, to Blitz it always seemed as though the wind was at his back and filling his sails.

Neverland was his home now; their home. His, and his crew's, and that was alright with him. Oddly enough, Blitz looked at Hook's war with Pan as utterly foolish. A full grown man trying to kill a boy and his friends? For what? Respect? Revenge? WHo cared? Certainly not Blitz. Truth was, if it came to the point where Hook and Pan were finally coming to their final battle, Blitz would glandly train his guns on the Jolly Roger, and never think twice about sending that ship to the bottom of the sea. Pan he could tolerate. And Hook? Hook was a stubborn old lunatic; that's the most Blitz thought of him.

Unlike many, Blitz didn't fear the Dread Pirate. No, he thought Hook was really quite a lark! For surely, any competant man, much less a "Pirate King", should be able to do away with a single boy. Was it truly so difficult to aim a rifle and kill him from a distance? He'd be dead before he heard the rifle fire. And even if it wasn't from range, how hard was it to send a pirate crew to scower an island and then pour shot after shell into the place where they found him? It wasn't hard at all. In Blitz's mind, Hook was no more than a stubborn old lunatic that would seek to destroy this place for his own gain.

However, that did not mean he would stand against Hook, not directly anyway. No, Blitz was smart enough not to do that. Hook's pirates outnumbered him a good deal, and if he were to turn "traitor", he'd find his end at the edge of a plank. One day, one day perhaps he would hold enough power to threaten even Hook, but that time would not come for a good long run. Currently however, he had a different matter to attend to. The matter of finding a treasure map.

"Oi!" Blitz called out "We're here Ernst! Reel up the sails and drop anchor!" Blitz shouted to his First Mate, and the commands were repeated. This was it. This was the spot. Directly beneath the Immortal lay the wreck of another pirate vessel. He'd forgotten the name by now, but what did it matter? The only thing on that ship that he cared about was the treasure map. It was stored in a water-tight chest in the Captain's Cabin, or it was supposed to be anyway. Hopefully it was.

Taking one last look over the side, Blitz then pulled the rope to bring himself upright and then hopped off the railing as the ship's small crane hoisted a glass box over the side and into the water. The top of the box was open, making it similar in function to a glass bottom boat. Peering over the side into it, Blitz could see the outline of the sunken vessel below. The thing was, it was a good distance down.

"How far down is she cap'n?"

"Two hundred fifty meters."

"Good Lord! None of us can dive that far sir! Not without the bell anyway, and it's cracked."

"That," Blitz said as he looked to the crewman with the slightest of smirks, "is exactly why I'm going."

"But sir, you can't-" The crewman began, but Blitz cut him off, ordering another crewman to bring him some chain shot and a short piece of rope. Upon the crewman's return, he tied one pair of chain shot on each side of his waist at his belt line with the rope, tossed his hat to the deck along with his trenchcoat, boots, pistols, and everything else until he was in nothing more than the chain shot, pants, a puffy shirt, and his two scimitars. He only kept the swords because he had no idea what might be down there.

"Yes, I can." Blitz said firmly as he grabbed a coil of rope and handed one end of it to the crewman. "If I need help getting back up, I'll tug on this sharply three times." Climbing up on the railing, he lookde to those of his crew that had gathered; all of them looked conscerned. "Don't worry lads, I'll be just fine." With a wink, he turned back around, sucked in a deep breath, held his end of the rope tight in his grasp, and plunged into the abyss.
