Blackwater collapsed, unable to go a step further. His fur was matted and ungroomed, he hadn't cared for it since Stormy had left.
"Why... why did you leave me?..." He whispered. "I was positive you felt the same way.. but then you just left.. without even a goodbye.." He covered his face in his paws. "I loved you. Even if you were a rogue, I loved you with all my heart... I didn't care what the rest of the clan thought.. I trusted you.." He lied there in silence for what seemed like hours. He finally pushed himself up, then looked to the sky.
He rose up on his back legs, his head towards the sky. He parted his jaws and let out a loud, mournful yowl. All of his emotions were caught in the cry: heartbreak, depression, love..
"Why did you leave me?!"

Heartbreak is the worst kind of pain. Someone had told him that long ago. And now he knew it was true. Stormy was the one person he felt he could trust, and now she was gone, only leaving behind a shell of who Blackwater used to be. Blackwater was nothing now.
