~Training Hallow~, Where Windclan Tests its Skills

[Wolfstar]

Wolfstar smiled at Windpaw. "It does sound like too simple of an answer doesn't it? And that's why a lot of cats fail to remember it and get stuck. Having the upper-paw one moment can turn into being beaten the next if you aren't prepared to give up you position of dominance and try again with another attack to gain it back. So you're completely right just jump off and try to catch them off guard by your speed." Wolfstar let this sink in a minute and herd Snowleopard's voice calling Hellpaw to a challenge. She turned back to Windpaw. "Lets watch and who ever wins you can spare against." She smiled confidently at her apprentice and turned to sit on the rocks and watch the match.

[Blizzardpelt]

Windpaw looked at her mentor and widened her eyes. I don't want to fight the deputy of Hellpaw! She narrowed her ice blue eyes and watched as Snowleopard didn't make a move as Hellpaw lunged forward after his yowl. "This will be entertaining." she meowed to Wolfstar. Then she started to play with the sand on the rock the two were sitting on. I was named after my speed, but I wonder how fast I can go?

Snowleopard smiled as Hellpaw came rushing towards him with his yowl. Swiftly, he moved to the side and slid behing Hellpaw. He flashed out a paw; claws sheathed. He struck one of his hind legs hoping that it would unbalance him. Then he bunched his hind quarters up and leapt onto Hellpaw's back. He raised his right paw ready to strike his face.

((Oh, pft, wrong cat.))

[Hellwhisper]

True to how Snowleopard intended, Hellpaw falls to the ground after his first strike at his hind leg, but before he hits the ground he is able to arch his back causing his center of mass to shift and consequently makes him roll to his side instead of right on his back to be pinned. His body twists once again to dislodge his mentor and while the white tom's paw strikes at his face Hellpaw's own hind leg whizzes upward ((claws sheathed of course and the shock from the face strike fueling his movements)) and kicks hard to the stomach area.

((Ouch... poor Snowleopard.))

Snowleopard staggered; the air knocked out of him. He looked at his apprentice and smiled weakly. "Guess your going to finish me off now?" he meows breathlessly. Attempting to a breath, he took in a gasp. Little air was taken. It would be enough. He hesistated and and lunged lazily at Hellpaw.

[Hellwhisper]

((D8 I know...))

Hellpaw takes in a deep breath and rolls again to get himself to his paws. A smirk is spread across his face at his kick, though the blow he received from Snowleopard left him pretty dazed himself."I guess so." His yellow eyes watch as Snowleopard lunges. Even in his disoriented state he has enough sense to skid to the side.

[Snowleopard]

Snowleopard gulped as Hellpaw skidded aside. "Oww, gah, I should have kicked you in the stomach." Snowleopard mews and turned around slowly. He blinked and his blue eyes sharpened. "I would have been dead by now." Snowleopard meowed and sat up straight and lowered himself into a sitting position. "Congratulations, you have passed the test. You are a warrior." he neatly curled his white speckled tail arou d his paws and yawned. He turned around sharply at Wolfstar and Windpaw. He purred at the sight of Windpaw. "Windpaw! You and Hellpaw! Come on!" he called.

[Hellwhisper]

Hellpaw keeps his eyes locked on to his mentor until he straightens up and turns towards Wolfstar and Windpaw. He gasps when Snowleopard mentions him being a warrior and he shakes his head to clear his thoughts then bounds a step or two forward to stand at Snowleopard's side. "Really??" The apprentice meows open-mouthed, his eyes large and disbelieving, excited, extremely so, as well. Fur fluffed out.

Wolfstar Winked at Hellpaw when his startled gaze shifted to her at the mention of his completed warrior test. "Now don't get too far ahead of yourself, Snowleopard." But she smiled as she said this hoping only to keep the soon to be warrior's excitement pricked. She turned her smile to her other soon to be warrior apprentice. "Windpaw your turn. Lets see how you do with Hellpaw. Remember the things I just taught you. You might catch him off guard."
