Title: Puzzles
Scarletprayers - July 20, 2008 10:11 PM (GMT)
I like to put puzzles together also, but I don't have a good place to do it any more, I need to get a big piece of wood or something that I can slide up underneath my couch when I'm not working on it or it just needs to be out of the way.

have you thought of getting two pieces of stiff card and covering them with felt or velcro ..the puzzle pieces stick to it and stay put when you fold it ...very easy to carry from room to room and easy to store.

Okay now...............back to puzzles, do you like putting them together?
Ladypeartree - July 20, 2008 10:58 PM (GMT)
yes but NOT the ones that look like a huge tin of baked beans or similar ...what is the point of putting a tin of baked beans together :(
I did try a 3d one once but it kept falling apart rotfl
Scarletprayers - July 20, 2008 11:02 PM (GMT)
I don't like those either, I like pretty scenes like mountains or the ocean.

have you tried making them for the grandchildren ? you can scan their photos and use the puzzle maker to "trace" over it with shapes ..then you cut it out ( I stick it onto cardboard first ) and they have their own puzzle <<tmbup>>

nope just love to have fun ...they each have their own place mat by simply laminating a photo or a picture that they have made ...great way to keep their treasured pictures and have a practical use for them too. rotfl
