Title: HERE WE GO AGAIN
Ladypeartree - December 5, 2009 05:10 PM (GMT)
It is the first Saturday in December and time to put up the decorations ..... I HATE PUTTING UP THE DECORATIONS )(cd() )(cd() )(cd() )(cd()
walla299 - December 5, 2009 05:42 PM (GMT)
So don't bother putting them up . . . especially if no one will help. ""k345::
I haven't bothered with it for so many years I had to think pretty hard to remember when the last time was that I put up decorations. Now I don't even change the wallpaper on my computer's screen -- though I have been known to change it to a Christmas tree on occasion. :D

I was referring to adult type help. &6&
I can understand the grandkids wanting to help, but try doing untangling strings of Christmas lights with 2 playful adult cats AND a litter of 4 active kittens underfoot! That job took hours, but had lots of fun.

My son in law decided to get a real tree last week ...its still in its wrappings in the back of my daughters car ::8h8::

Wow! You do start early! If I put my decorations up at the beginning of December, I'd be sick of the sight of them by Christmas (quite apart from the space they take up). About a week before Christmas is when we get our tree out of the loft.

:D First Saturday in December has always been the time ....and as soon as possible after to get them down ::frsnojo::

I know someone whose family bought a live tree, and on the way home decided to get a car wash. A little forgetful, they were. When they got out, they realized that it was still up there. :<what>:
Since it had been also waxed, they said it didn't shed nearly as much that year. ::03::
