However, me being the Proverbs wife that I am **flw** I suggested we went tonight instead as it's their cheap 2 courses for £10 night. I phoned and booked for 7 pm.

We just went down and I've eaten hardly anything today in anticipation. The place was in complete darkness, all locked up and not even a whiff of pizza in the air! They had our telephone number and their answer machine says they are open Tuesday-Saturday from 6 pm. Do you think they have been abducted by aliens? Maybe Bucks has a theory??

I shall expect compensation of a free meal when I manage to get hold of them! :(

I have the right time and right day!! They took my reservation and also my phone number and there have been no messages!! We are having to make do with a take away pizza. ::bby::

Wow. If something like that happened here, I'd just write it off to the Border Patrol (Immigration) raiding the place & shutting the place down . . . That happens to a lot of restaurants here and there's not much you can do when it does.

I can't usually afford the "fancy" sit down type eateries, anyway. The dollar menu usually has to do it for me -- either that or cook something up at home.

They were still closed yesterday and no-one has got back to me. I heard from the Supermarket check-out lady that they had a rat infestation a couple of weeks ago.................. :o

Don't forget to bring the spaghetti, meat and Italian sauce. Lass was expecting an Italian meal.

That's it then. Mystery solved.

There was a rat infestation, rats cook really well (Red said so) and so the rats bit all the staff and now the staff have bubonic plague and have been quarantined in a "facility" way "out in the sticks" (because the government doesn't want the general population to know that the is another black plague in case people react badly).

So that left the rats in the restaraunt. Now they couldn't run the place on their own (because who would go to a restaraunt run by rats?) so they opened a pizza shop instead and use the building next door as a "front" while actually making the pizzas in the first building.

Good theory?
