It is rumoured that Scarlet and Marcie went to Florida for the Christmas holidays and got kidnapped by swamp monsters (they're all over Florida, it's ...... well .... terrible, just terrible)

Apparently these swamp monsters have a dastardly plan to indoctrinate Scarlet and Marcie in the ways of the swamp monster, and when they are done doing that Scarlet and Marcie will have sympathy for swamp monsters and will carry out their plan to turn the entire state of Florida (and eventually the greater part of the United States) into swamp so that the swamp monster population may thrive again.

Apparently prior to about 1400AD North America was nearly all covered in swamp and then (what we call today) the North American Indians came down from Canada and went and drained most of the swamps.

Extreme heat is what is needed first - to dry out the colder parts of the United States and, so Scarlet is training to produce satellites that will reflect the sun's rays on the land in a concentrated form. Once that is done, it shouldn't take too long.

Marcie is working on a way to flood the land, so that it stays flooded.

Ricky, I have to warn you: Texas is their first target. It is ideal because it is already pretty hot, and just needs to be turned into swamp.

So soon there will be swamp monsters all over Texas.

Now I'm not saying that this is all true, mind. It is just a rumour at this stage. Has anyone else heard anything about this?

I'm afraid it's worse than you think :ph43r: It will take more than just the Yetti, it will take at least the Yetti, Bert, Bigfoot and Bigfootette. And if anyone has a spare pickup truck that could be used for a quick get-away vehicle, the posse of the above-mentioned creatures just might succeed in defeating the swamp monsters and rescuing our absent posters.

No, I'm afraid we don't know where they are. We'll just have to search miles and miles of swamp and hope for the best.

The one I've got here is a little out of date but I think to get to America from UK you sort of "turn right at Gaul" and "avoid the marauding hordes and the sea monsters" .... hmmn, maybe someone's got a better map. This one is also kind of yellowing with age.

I think we should give them until Friday to post before we go and start an international search and rescue plan. If we go into Florida weilding machetes and blow torches, using guns andin speed boats, accompanied by a camel and several hairy apes it might cause distress to some people and even an "international incident" and it could be slightly embarrassing if we're wrong and Scarlet and Marcie are just sitting round in their underwear eating icecream and watching TV and forgetting about the rest of the world.

We could use that fact to get Cuyslayer to trap all the swamp monsters. He would think they are all giant cuy, hunt them and keep them in his storehouse for the winter.

Then their dastardly plan to turn the entire state into swamp might just be thwarted and Scarlet and Marcie could escape, unless they have been forced to wear fur coats too, that is ....
