savedricky - January 13, 2012 02:37 PM (GMT)
I have started a new blog and am getting a lot of spam comments. I have comments set to where I have to moderaye first but 90% of the comments are spam.

::dsty:: I have a pretty good spam filter thingy on my emails ... gets rid of an average of 40 spam emails a day. When I was in hospital for a week I didnt have it and by the time I came home my in box was so full that no one had been able to send me messages for days. Goodness knows why firms think people would respond to this unsolicited mail...it is a real " turn off " as far as I am concerned <ign: <ign: <ign: <ign: <ign:

Same on my blog, most of the comments I get are spam. Drives me crazy!

There must be a reason. If companies didn't get sales out of SPAM they wouldn't bother sending it.
Someone must respond.

I get a lot of "scam spam" the kind of stuff that you just know is a ripoff . . . I don't get as much of it as I used to since I never respond to it -- and therefore the spammer eventually figures the email addy is a black hole.
I'm getting some now that has my own email address as the sender . . . grr . . .
