:D HI! I'm still alive and kicking.
Isn't God GREAT? Say YES!

I'm still living in the little rental house in the southern US - it's been 6 1/2 years now - and I've been spending a bit of time most mornings rebuilding some things in it. (I take all the costs out of rent.) I keep thinking about what my mansion in Heaven must be like...but I don't think it will have MICE! If ya'll want to pray for me, pray for my neighbors instead, please. Because if they get saved and repent that will help me, too. I am surrounded by drunks and cannot stand the vulgarity that wafts through the air so I never go outside anymore. I've tried to talk with a few of them but they just don't hear. But, God's perfect timing...

I have a wheelchair now but don't use it in my house usually because I feel like I need to get as much exercise as I can. Plus it won't fit through the doors of my house (yet - I'm tempted to rebuild the doorways).

My heart is doing well! I only have to see the cardiologist if I think there's a problem. My sinuses are doing well; it has been some time since having a sinus infection. My legs and hip are bothersome now but I refuse to allow them to make me anything but a goofy, laughing lady.
My cat Katie is perfect and we have added another - Hazel kitty. After Kate almost died last September from an unknown infection I asked to keep one of my foster kitties because it helped Katie to become more active. (I was involved with an animal rescue group but gave it up when I couldn't walk my foster dogs anymore). It's so rewarding!

It's taken more than a year, probably closer to two years, but tomorrow I will read the last chapters in Revelation! And then I'll start reading the Bible again. Being attentive to what the Word says IS, I believe, what God does for us. If we are serious about living for Him we will WANT to get into His Word. I don't know if I would be able to quote anything but again, if I ask God to perfect that in me, too, He will.

A few weeks ago I saw a YouTube video where Candace Cameron (actress; Kirk's sister) gave her testimony and she was saying that even though she was saved, she would go on sinning because we know Jesus forgives...boy, I do that all the time and it really hit me. GLAD, too! Well, yes, Jesus does forgive but wouldn't it make Him much happier to live our lives not having to worry about being excused? In my own life I catch myself using "God will forgive me, He loves me" as an excuse to do something not quite right.

How many years has it been since we were at Worthy Boards? WOW.

Oh, my car is STILL running - praise God! Well, nowadays I can only get it to the store and back. 1987 Chevy. Once it dies I will have totally lost my independence as I live out in the sticks. But, we can't worry about that, God takes care of it all.

All right, if ya'll have not died from boredom by this time reading my post, let me just say one more thing...
