It is 1 AM and I am tooo stressed to go to bed .... just got back from babysitting for my daughter and son in law ( after looking after the children for 6 hours today whilst they looked around the shops )
The children were good, but although they were only two doors away I couldnt get hold of the parents for almost TWO HOURS ... they were at a party and the next door neighbours son decided to have a party too ( NO he is NOT a teenager , he is in his late 30's ) After 3 hours of constant foul language screamed at the top of drunken voices and hammering as if they were trying to break out of hell combined with bang bang sterio I had had MORE than enough It had woken three of the four children several times and I couldnt get the baby back to sleep ... unfortunatly neither could I get hold of the parents as they were not answering their mobile phones and had not left me a land line to get hold of them... I couldnt leave the children in the house to go and call them ( not with that party of drunks next door ) and I couldnt take them out of bed into the rain and dark ( no street lights ) to fetch the parents ... If I had been at home the police would have been called long ago and believe me they are fortunate that I didnt call them anyway )(cd() )(cd() )(cd() )(cd() I am afraid my daughter got it in the neck when she got home ( almost 1am ) and there are a couple of " messages " on their mobile phones )(cd() |
