HBP Family Group: Admin Posts: 26,903 Member No.: 4 Joined: 5-July 08	ok dont know what is going on but if anyone has any ideas and can "walk me through them" I would be very gratful... My main computer will let me on here and I have no problems at all.... My laptop will let me open the home page for HBP BUT althjough I can see the home page and see who is on line etc as soon as I hit ANY button be it to log in or try to reregester or try to open a thread it takes me straight to invisionfree home page and there is no way out of there....I can however go to live chat here without any problems and I can open up and go to worthy boards and other sites without the problems ...any ideas ?????? ::02::

I have both computers running at the same time...I can use my main computer without any problems but my lap top doesnt show me as being here and is STILL taking me to the invisionfree home page ...I dont exsist on my own laptop ::02::

Then use the link I am sending you to your email to get back on and see if that works. Okay?

Which machine are you having trouble with, the laptop? What flavor of Windows is on it: XP or Vista?

If you are mainly having trouble with the browser, try this:

Internet Explorer:

1. Make sure you are using a current version: Help --> About IE

You can update through the Windows Update site, if needed.

2. Tools Menu --> Internet Options --> Delete Cookies and Delete Files.

That will clear out all the cookies and temporary files which can cause trouble like you've been having. If that doesn't clear it up something might be wrong with the browser itself. You can always download and re-install it. Back up your bookmark files if you do, just in case.

These directions are for XP, but should work in Vista too.

cant use the email on the laptop cos I dont know how :wub:

I have deleted almost everything that was on the laptop but it just likes invisionfree ::02::
