i was thinking bout a lot of things this morning and one of those thing was worthy. so i went to the site i started to look around a bit. as i looked i found some of my posts and i remebered the good times i had. it feels like its been forever since i had that. i realized how much i miss everything and everyone. its been ,for lack of a better word, amazing what ive been thru since i first went there. the laughter, the hurt, the joy, the smiles, the love the friendships. now a days it seems i lost way more than all that. its like i lost that person. ever since me and amanda broke up i just seem lost almost like a part of me died when the rralationship did. i want me back. i want the courage to dream and faith to follow those dreams again. but at the same time im scared to. i dont want to be hurt like that again. ya i have been hurt b4 but not that bad.

You have to have the capacity to love BIG time to get hurt BIG time ... those with little love to give risk little but also recieve little. ( hope that makes sense )

So sorry you have been so hurt but it's good that you have felt able to share so that we can pray for you. You may have lost that person but God works through our suffering to bring out a new person, one refined by fire, one that is pure gold. He gives beauty for ashes. I know that's hard to think about in the short term but keep going forward. We love you Ghostie, how you were, how you are now and how you are going to be! ::hgg5:: ::hgg5::

dont bother ladyp there is no one out there for me ive come to that realization. love is a waste of time for me.

My son said that too and after various disappointments finally met his present partner in his 30s and they have been together for a few years now - no children but 7 cats!!!!!!!! ::03::

If it is in God's plans, you will find the right person. If not, then God still has a plan for your life. Try to be content in the place you are, and remember that all things work together for good to them that love God.

I miss the old Ghostdog too. I wish there was a way that we could all go back and recapture all the fun, silliness and good times that we had, both here and on Worthy.

Ghostdog you are brilliant. You don't realise that. You have a particular wit about you and a way of saying just the right thing at just the right time. You were my inspiration for me writing a lot of the garbage I wrote on "fellowship Hall" in Worthy and on here. You and Scarlet combined to bring out the "bizarre" and LPT would come across as "ultra sensible".

Butero has "hit the nail on the head" with the bit about "if it is God's will, you will find the right partner, if he has other plans for you, so be it" (or words to that affect). I couldn't have put it better, that totally sums it up.

Just be patient and concentrate on being the Ghostdog that everybody here came to love and whose posts they came to look forward to reading. Don't give up on love, it will come.
