QUOTE
"Great, rain," he mumbled under his breath as he looked towards the hotel, the accomodations having a more appealing taste to it now that the outside was losing it's appeal. He walked inside, smiling at the person who was sitting at the desk. "Good afternoon. I just require a small room, if that's okay? For one," he asked, searching in his pockets for his wallet. The person, who happened to be another good-looking woman, blushed and smiled at him.

"Sure thing, handsome," she said, giggling and turning towards a book that seemed to have names written in it. She looked down, scanning with her finger as well, before tapping a random spot on the page that was blank. "We have room 402 open! " she said, bending down to reach for the key. He smiled and walked forward, taking the key from her gently.

"Thank you. How much will that be?" he asked, thumbing through the various dollar bills he had in his wallet. The woman giggled once more and fanned her hand once in a "Oh-you-stop-it-" motion.

"For you....free of charge," she whispered, winking at him. Aika stopped thumbing through his money and looked up to her in confusion.

"Oh, no, I couldn't--please--" the woman put up a hand and stopped him, pushing the hand that held his key closer to his chest.

"I insist," she whispered once more, gesturing her head up towards the stairs that probably led up to the rooms. Aika blushed and sighed, running a hand through his hair.

"Thank you very much, ma'am," he said, picking up his suitcase and smiling once more before climbing up the stairs. Once he reached his room, he sighed once more, shaking his head before putting the key into the lock and turning it. A click satisfied him, signaling the door was open. He pushed it open and was pleased to find that it wasn't that nice. He didn't want it to be too extravagant because then he'd feel REALLY bad about getting it for free. A small bed, a window with shutters that could be pushed open or pulled closed, a dresser that was resting up against the eastern wall and a bathroom that had only a small washtub and a mirror. He set his suitcase on the bed and looked out of the window; the shutters were already pushed open. He leaned his hands against the frame but decided to step back in and close once the wind began blowing rain his way. He laid back on the bed, hands folded behind his head, another sigh escaping him.

"Hope this place proves to be interesting," he said before closing his eyes in thought.

JUST THOUGHT I'D LET YOU KNOW NOW...
THIS ROLE PLAY DOES CONTAIN MATURE CONTENT.
SO CONSIDER THIS A FAIR WARNING. :]

“Excuse me,” Ritsuka said quietly to a friendly-looking young woman at the front desk. His voice was unusually quiet as he looked up towards her hopefully. She turned expectantly and stared down on him, though her lips upturned into a soft smile as she gazed upon his flawless face and innocent expression. “Do you know if Aika Hiori checked in here?” He asked then, his voice small and insignificant against the soft patter of hooves against the cobblestones outside. It had been an hour since he had left the train station. Upon getting off the phone with Aika he had forgotten the name of the hotel they were staying at, and thus, had spent a good hour trying to find the right hotel. He felt foolish for calling Aika and asking, so he stubbornly tried to find it himself, which was much more difficult than he originally expected. How many inns were in London anyways?

“He’s about yay high,” Ritsuka continued to explain, holding his hand just an inch above his own head. Aika was taller- but they were similar in body structures. Except Ritsuka looked more like a boy, while Aika had gained the sophisticated look brought on by adulthood. But it didn’t seem to bother Ritsuka either way. “Dark hair, brown eyes…” Ritsuka’s voice had gained a slight edge of confidence to it now that he was describing Aika, and he smiled kindly on the woman, whose face seemed to light with warmth when he smiled, struck by his charming smile, and hopeful eyes.

“Oh! Yes, the Hiori fellow.” The woman seemed to beam with recognition then and Ritsuka leaned forward on the counter, his smile widening as the receptionist grew more and more enticed by the young man. “Is he your brother or something? I heard him mumbling about someone who was supposed to meet him earlier…” The woman spoke with a sudden amused tone as she recalled the event and Ritsuka laughed softly alongside her. Typical, they had been mistaken for brothers again; but what was even more amusing was that the woman seemed to have developed a fancy for Aika already, though Ritsuka shouldn’t have been entirely surprised. They were both like that in a sense, not that it was always necessarily a good thing. Sometimes it helped when eyes were constantly engrossed on the two.

“Yeah, I’m kinda late…” Ritsuka answered sheepishly, dropping his suitcase at his side. It seemed too big in comparison with Ritsuka’s small frame, but he had carried it there with ease. If he had been mortal that probably wouldn’t have been the case- but that was one of the upsides of being a vampire, super human strength, though it took time to understand control and gentleness once he received such strength. He had snapped a table in half once at the hot springs, just slapping the table playfully, only for it to shatter and split right down the middle, shards and splinters of wood getting thrown in the air with tremendous force, when really Ritsuka had barely even grazed the surface of the thick mahogany. “Can you tell me what room I need to go to?”

“Certainly, he’s in room 402.”

-----

Click.

Ritsuka’s hand shoved the key into the lock with a sudden wave of excitement. At first, the lock refused to unlock, but after a few seconds of fumbling the door was flung open and Ritsuka threw his suitcase aside, as it clattered against the opposite wall. He then proceeded to run towards the bed, and he threw himself on it, laughing softly as he pulled Aika’s frame into his. “I found it!” He laughed childishly, looking up towards Aika with an overwhelming sense of pride, a smile overcoming the majority of his face.

Even though they both knew he was a few hours too late.

Aika had hung up the phone with a heavy heart. He would have to wait longer until he got to see his lover and that made him sad. He sighed heavily and closed his eyes, covering his eyes with his arm. He hadn't even realized how much he missed his boyfriend until his voice had disappeared again. That cute little fuzz ball of energy was annoying when he was around but when he was gone, he found that he missed it so much the silence was almost crippling.

He had heard some sort of conversation going on downstairs and a soft spoken voice was speaking towards the woman at the desk. He rose an eyebrow for he thought he recognized the voice. He let his arm fall to the side but used the elbow of the arm to prop himself on his side, eyes opening to perk up with his eyebrow raising at the same time. He definitely knew that voice but for some odd reason, he couldn't place the voice to the face in his mind. He tried to listen intently, using his super human hearing to cheat, as the voice got clearer. Suddenly, it stopped and he could hear footsteps bounding up the stairs aggressively. He got a little paranoid for he couldn't recognize the aura and that usually didn't happen. Then again, that usually happened with rain and in places he had never been in before. For new places usually harbored new people whom he had never met before so the auras were ones not be recognized.

He heard the doorknob jiggle and someone fumbling with keys. He backed up a little but remained on the bed for reasons unknown, even to himself. Suddenly, the door opened and a suitcase flew to the opposite wall from Aika. Simultaneously, a body threw itself onto the bed and hugged his body close to this strangers'. He smiled for he knew who the body was the moment they chirped the follow:

    I found it!

Aika laughed and held the body closer to him with a squeeze that was probably unnecessary. He smiled and softly kissed Ritsuka's forehead. "Anata, sashiburi ne," he spoke his native language, knowing that Ritsu knew full well what he was saying. He grabbed his boyfriend's chin softly and tilted his head up to look into his eyes. "I missed you, Ritsu" he whispered before greeting his lips to Ritsuka's lips in a needy kiss. Pulling him closer, he placed a hand behind Ritsu's head to secure him there as the other snaked around his waist.

    "Anata, sashiburi ne,"

Ritsuka smiled softly as Aika’s warm body was pressed against his. The soft drizzle of rain outside made him drowsy and he pulled himself closer to Aika, though a hand suddenly gripped firmly beneath his chin. Ritsuka looked up towards Aika, hands rested gently on his chest, as Aika’s free hand seemed to naturally find its way to hiswaist, and his lips just as naturally to Ritsuka’s own. Ritsuka’s hands curled around Aika’s shirt, gripping it tightly, as Aika rested a hand on the back of his head, holding him in place as their lips intertwined with nothing but utter perfection and preciseness. It was amazing how well the two fit together- almost as if god had sculpted the two from the same stone, both part of the same masterpiece, awaiting to be joined once more.

Ritsuka pulled away after a long moment, lips tracing tenderly down to Aika’s neck, where he hovered there for a moment, then laid his head on his shoulder, listening to the soft patter of rain on the rooftops. It was eerie how there was an absence of a heart beat- but Ritsuka had long since grown used to it. Of course, he didn’t have as many years of immortal experience as Aika did- Ritsu had been changed only four years ago, but he was slowly catching up.

“Mhh, I’m hungry.” Ritsuka suddenly piped up then, and slowly began loosening his grip from Aika’s shirt. Typical Ritsuka, in the heat of a romantic moment one might expect a proceeding romantic comment- but there was no such comment, only the recollection of one’s hunger, though he didn’t remove himself from Aika’s grasp, merely rested against him, head fitting comfortably into the cove of his neck.

Ritsuka lifted himself up slightly then, allowing his eyes to trail towards Aika’s. “Aika, I hear other vampires live in London too, do you think they’re friendly?” He questioned, as if he were a child readying themselves for the first day of school, bound to meet his new classmates. “I could smell them all the way over here… and another scent too, but I didn’t know what it was.” Ritsuka continued, though contemplated this. He had picked up two scents that were unfamiliar to him- not animals, or humans, or vampires… but something else. Unbeknownst to him, Ritsuka was attaining the first scents of transformers and lycans within the area, but he had no knowledge of them existing and thus could not match their scent with their being. “What if they’re mean and don’t like us?” Ritsuka questioned then with a look of disappointment as he cuddled deeper into Aika’s chest. He yawned softly, whispering then. “But I cant imagine anyone who wouldn’t like Aika.” Ritsuka mused, as he closed his eyes, dark eyelashes falling on pale cheeks.

The way they molded together made Aika glad that he had waited as long as he did for Ritsuka to arrive. The way their lips were soft against one another and not lust-filled, at least not yet, but gentle towards each other. His hold on Ritsuka was protective yet soft enough that Ritsu was free to move should he choose to do so. Even though he didn't.

Once their soft kiss ended with Ritsu pulling away gently to rest his head against Aika's chest, he sighed happily. Being with Ritsuka completed him and he was glad that he had turned him into one of his own. He didn't know what he would do without Ritsu by his side. Just the mere fact that he was going to stay by his side for all of eternity now was so very reassuring. He noticed that Ritsuka was lying his head on the place where his heart should have been beating and he felt a bit uncomfortable. He read a few romance novels where the woman would always lay her head on the man's chest and the sound of his heartbeat would lull her to sleep. Sadly, his heart had stopped beating a while ago so there was nothing to really lull Ritsu to sleep per say. However, Aika had thought up a few ways to get around that one that seemed to prove quite useful in the end. A small smile crept across his face at that.

Once Ritsu said he was hungry, Aika couldn't help the small laugh that escaped his mouth. Ritsuka was so utterly adorable, Aika couldn't help placing another gentle kiss on the boys' soft lips. "Is that so? Hungry for what?" he asked, smirking at him in a sexy manner.

He was taken off guard when Ritsu had asked his innocent yet inquiring question. Aika rose an eyebrow and his smirk had faded away. "Really? Now that you mention it, I did pick up a few different scents that I didn't recognize either," he mused, thinking back to when he was wandering in the streets. He then looked to Ritsuka, a warm smile donning his features. "What? Now, honestly, koibito. You're acting like a five-year old," he said, softly stroking Ritsu's disheveled hair. He really did love the boy but sometimes he could behave like a small child. "If they like us, they like us. If they don't, then that's their loss. You shouldn't worry so much about what others think," he informed with a gentle voice. He kissed Ritsu's forehead softly.

"The only people you should listen to are myself and you. Those are the only opinions that truly matter. Don't forget that," he said, closing his eyes as well to pull Ritsu closer. He rested his chin on the top of the boys' head as a content smile came across his face. He then opened them again and looked down at his boyfriend, his long eyelashes casting shadows on his pale face. [I think I stole the exact line you used. xD]

"Is that so? Well, I don't quite see how anyone could ignore an impossibly adorable boy like you, that I cannot," he said, placing a hand to cup Ritsuka's cheek gently. He merely took to staring at the boys' face and into his eyes once he opened them to gaze at him.

He was lost in those eyes. So lost that a small smile came onto his face. All words flew out of his head except for three little words.

"I love you," he muttered, leaning his forehead on the boys'.

He laid settle for a moment, which was also unusual for Ritsuka, but with the combination of the train ride, and then standing out in the rain, and then an hour of trying to find the damned hotel… he was exhausted, and Aika’s arms were so comforting, it was hard not to just fall asleep right then and there. Plus, the soft drizzle of rain was a lullaby of sorts- soothing his ears, consuming him, pulling him deeper into his drowsy state. He yawned once more unintentionally, as he felt Aika’s head rest atop his own. Ritsu prayed to god that the hour he had spent finding the hotel had granted him enough time to get fully dry- he had indeed been standing in the middle of a street like an idiot when Aika had nearly threatened him to get out of it and to the hotel. Maybe if he just kept him distracted he wouldn’t notice…

“Well maybe you should stop acting like an adult and have fun for once,” Ritsu countered playfully, as he tilted his head back to quickly meet his lips with Akai’s. “The way I see it, we have plenty of years to grow up.” He laughed softly to himself, his speech becoming slow and slightly slurred as he closed his eyes once more. It was true, Ritsuka was only in his teens- and Aika was a good hundred years old already. It was no wonder there was such a difference in maturity levels- plus, it was just in their personalities to achieve and attain such a level. Though Ritsu knew many years awaited him, he doubted he would change much, after all, though vampires age in the mind, they didn’t in the body. So why grow up if he didn’t have to?

“Mhh, you’re wrong. Remember that Old Russian man from the train? He seemed pretty determined to ignore me.” Ritsu frowned, as his brows furrowed, though this upset in his face lasted only but a couple of seconds before it fell into that face of pure innocence once more and almost into a state of sleep. “And the old lady… and the train man…” He began listing off all the people who had ever ignored him, or not ignored him per say, but were upset by his unruly behavior and childish attitude even though he looked well old enough to contain his impatience and improve his behavior.

But it didn’t matter to him now; his mind was pulling him deeper and deeper into a sleep that was inevitable.

Aika rested his forehead against his then and Ritsu lay still, listening to those three simplistic words that left Aika’s lips. Ritsuka truly felt lucky to be able to hear those words- and with so much honesty behind them. Many people were unable to experience true love, Ritsu had just been blessed enough to experience it, and it was his for eternity.

“I love you too.” He whispered, barely audible if it wasn’t for their heightened hearing. He allowed his eyes to peel open then, mere slits, as they looked into Aika’s. He smiled gently, before closing them again, only this time, there was no more words uttered, and the boy had fallen into an even state of sleep, his breathing slow and consistent. Though there was no need for breathing, it was a habit his body hadn’t rid itself of yet, and he cherished the little mortal characteristic he still had in him. But the one thing that being changed into a vampire hadn’t changed about him was his undying love and affection for Aika. He had given his soul to spend the rest of eternity with him, and there was no regret in his mind whatsoever, just peaceful dreams, and the thought of Aika always in the depths of his mind.

Aika couldn't help but smile as he watched his lover slowly drift off to sleep. His words were slurring into one another as sleep pulled him closer and closer to that blissful slumber. He held him close and kissed him on the top of his head.

"Shush now, koibito," he whispered in a gentle voice, trying to lull him to sleep with the volume in his tone. He gently threaded his fingers in his raven black hair and rubbed softly, massaging his head gently. He tried everything in his power to get the boy to stop talking and to just fall asleep. Aika could see how fatigued he was and he knew that the boy would keep talking until sleep shut him up itself. Aika laughed inwardly at the thought.

"Get some sleep, my love, please," he half-begged, wanting him to stop talking and to just let slumber claim him. He closed his eyes and rested his chin on top of Ritsu's head. He now realized how tired he was himself. The train ride was spent awake, he hadn't even tried to fall asleep on the overcrowded train he was in. Plus the rain and fog always made him sleep when it occurred back in Japan. He found that he couldn't will his eyes open again to turn off the candle in his room. He lazily pointed his hand in the direction he knew the candle was in and merely sucked the flame into his hand. Once the flame was practically dancing in his palm, he crushed it with his fingers and it extinguished into smoke. He shook his hand out before burying it into Ritsu's soft locks again with a small smile.

The boy was perfect, like a graceful angel. He managed to will his eyes open to just stare at him. He was already asleep, his long black eyelashes dusting shadows on his pale cheeks. Aika reached his other hand that was on Ritsu's waist, and gently brushed a lock of black hair away from his cheek. He let his hand rest of Ritsu's soft cheek before leaning forward and placing a small kiss on his forehead. Once he pulled back, he smiled gently.

"You are so beautiful....Ritsu-chan...so lovely," he whispered, even though the boy couldn't even hear him. He knew these words needed to be said and he felt that he didn't say them enough to the boy. That was probably why he did the things he did for Aika. He didn't want to let him down. Silly stubborn boy. Aika shook his head and pulled the boy close to him again, resting his chin on the top of his head.

The bed was comfy, he could feel his lover's body against him, the idiot was safe and sound asleep in his arms, and sleep was slowly overcoming him as well. He could hear the faint snoring of Ritsuka beneath him before he uttered two words.

"Oyasumi nasai," he slurred before sleep claimed him as well.

[on your next post, you can have them waking up! <3]

The rain had settled the night before- and now the morning seemed to be alive with fresh due and sunlight, which streamed into the soft beige-colored room. Ritsuka shifted uncomfortably, yawning softly, as his eyes reluctantly pulled open. He was no longer pressed up against Aika like he had the night before. Ritsu had always been a messy sleeper, and for some odd reason he had ended up half on the floor, with the covers strewn across the opposite end of the room. He smiled to himself, stretching for one long moment before he allowed himself to relax again. He sat up, resituating himself on the bed as he looked towards a sleeping Aika. Ritsu smiled, as he dismounted the bed and crossed the room to gather the sheets that had been tossed carelessly onto the floor. He flung them on the bed, doing his best to cover Aika, whom was still sleeping, and probably would still be sleeping for a couple hours yet. Aika had always been the one to sleep in late and stay up late, while Ritsu went to bed early and woke up early. Their bodies were on different time clocks, though sometimes Ritsu wished he could stay up with Aika, and not fall asleep on him like he did every night.

Ritsuka crossed the room once more, to where a small window was nestled on the side of the wall. It’s shutters had been pulled shut the night before- to prevent rain water from damaging the wood and from getting inside, but now that the weather seemed to be turning in their favor, he pulled the windows open a few inches, allowing a dim light to fall across the room. He didn’t throw the panes open as wide as their hinges allowed- for he was afraid of waking Aika and plus, vampires and light had never been a good mixture. Of course, they never exploded into a cloud of ash, but sometimes it got painful standing in light for too long, so conserving what darkness in the room they had was vital, but it could still be alive with the rays of the early morning.

Ritsuka leaned against the window sill, his eyes casting down to the main street- where a few carriages and ladies in full gowns trotted along the cobblestones. A few shop owners were setting up booths along the road- setting out their various items to sell to the early-risers. Ritsuka stuck a hand inside his side pocket, feeling around for some change he might have left over, however, his hunt was denied, and he was met with empty pockets. Uh-oh. Where was all the money Aika had given him for the train ride over? Oh! That’s right; he had spent it on the candies on the trolley. A friendly woman had offered them to him, and he supposed he spent far more than his budget allowed… But Aika wouldn’t mind, right? Then again, that was probably why they shouldn’t have taken separate trains. Ritsu was notorious for spending money on things he didn’t need- specifically sweets and other goods that would otherwise rot his teeth out if his body wasn’t already immortal, and thus, he was allowed to eat as much candy as he wanted, without getting a stomach or tooth ache afterwards.

Ritsu frowned softly as he saw a small booth across the street that harbored a few scones and other delicacies- he could almost see the heat rising off from their glazed and iced surfaces. He reluctantly pulled away from the window, and slunk into bed next to Aika, who was still sleeping peacefully and as still as a statue. “Aika,” Ritsu whispered softly, snuggling up to the young man as he buried his face into his chest. “Aika.” He tried again, though he was met by the soft snoring of his partner, who refused to move. However, Ritsuka was not discouraged and merely sat up, poking Aika relentlessly until he awoke. “Aika…” He whined, as he sighed, sitting on his knees as he leaned forward, pressing his lips softly to his own. “Wake up,” He whispered, lips hovering a few inches above Aika’s as he pulled back and smiled. “Its time to get up.” He leaned forward and kissed him delicately once more, as a hand naturally found its way to one of Aika’s. He lifted this hand up and kissed his knuckles playfully, his energy finally reaching its peak after finally waking up.

“You don’t plan on sleeping ‘till noon, do you?”

Aika was in blissful slumber, warmth around him but some cold blowing onto random spots on his body. He felt shifting next to him and assumed that it was Ritsuka moving around, waking up. He inwardly smiled at the sleepy face that he knew would be on his boyfriend's face. he shifted a bit but decided to remain still. He was tired still and he didn't really want to get out of bed yet. But he knew that Ritsuka would have no such thing and would pounce on him the first chance he got. He mentally and somewhat physically prepared himself for such a thing but it didn't come yet. He heard footsteps pad over to what he assumed was the window but he didn't open his eyes to find out.

He turned over in the bed and feigned being asleep for as long as he could. He was laughing inside because he wanted to see how long Ritsuka could go without going to wake him up. He counted the seconds in his head but gave up when the numbers began getting too high. He was too sleepy to count past forty right now.

Aika suddenly felt him close to him, leaning his head on his chest. One calling of his name in a whiny tone and he almost laughed. Another whining of his name and a peck on his lips and he actually smiled this time. Softly and almost unnoticeable, but there. He felt his hand being held in Ritsu's and his soft lips gently kissing the fingertips.

"Noon doesn't sound so bad," he muttered, not opening his eyes at all. A smile still donning his features he flexed his hands, using his finger to lightly trace Ritsuka's lip. "Then again, you're looking to go somewhere, am I right?" he asked, cracking open his eyes now. He looked to Ritsuka and smiled. "Ohayou, koibito," he greeted, pulling his lover closer so he could plant a proper kiss on the boys' soft lips.

"How long have you been awake?" he asked, tilting his head to the side and stretching his body.

“Noon doesn’t sound too bad,” Ritsuka perked up when Aika finally shifted, his lips turned up into a small smile as he peeked his eyes open to look over at a messy-haired Ritsu. His dark hair was tossed about his face, sticking in various and random directions, a hair style that Ritsu knew would not settle itself until it was washed. But bathing was the last thing on his mind right now, he wanted those goodies… “Yes, we need to get breakfast Aika!” Ritsu proclaimed, as if it were vital for the two of them to eat breakfast, and by breakfast he meant those delicious looking bakery goods across the street- not blood, as one might expect a vampire’s breakfast to consist of. In truth, vampires didn’t necessarily need mortal food- it was the blood they needed. But sometimes they ate out of pleasure, and Ritsu mentally noted that it was probably a good thing vampires didn’t retain calories, or else he’d be one fat boy, and Aika would probably be disgusted by him. He laughed at the thought.

“Just a few minutes,” Ritsuka admitted shamefully. He had tried to let Aika sleep in, he knew he went to bed much later than he did- but he just couldn’t help it. Besides, Aika probably wouldn’t like him venturing outside by himself even if he did have money, he’d probably get pulled into unnecessary attention and cause mischief somewhere.

“Aika, aika. Did you sleep well?” He asked, tugging on Aika’s shirt sleeve impatiently as he smiled boyishly. He shifted on the bed, unfolding his legs from beneath him so he could sit more comfortably besides Aika, who stretched and yawned as the drowsiness diminished from his porcelain face.

“OH! And we should go see London today Aika, we should. It’s a beautiful day outside and there are lots of neat places here like in Japan.” There was a pang of homesickness then as Ritsuka recalled their home country. They were so many miles away from Japan- from Asaka, from the hot springs. He missed it really. Everything was so foreign here… and half the time he didn’t understand what anyone was saying. And little Hatsu, she must have been getting so big! It was funny really; Hatsu looked exactly like mama and followed Ritsu around everywhere, like a baby chick.

“Aika, do you think we’ll be able to go back to Japan soon?”

Aika grumbled a bit at the fact that Ritsuka was already pressing to go get something. He wanted to sleep in for a bit more but he should have known that Ritsu would never allow such a thing. There was no such thing as sleeping in until noon with his hyperactive boyfriend. He smiled a bit at him and knew exactly what he meant by getting breakfast. He didn't mean drinking animal's blood, like their diet called for, he didn't mean eating regular breakfast like human's did. He meant eating some sort of sweets that most likely caught his eye when he was fast asleep.

He sighed and brushed his hair out of his face. "You just want to eat some sweet, don't you?" he asked, patting Ritsu on his head. He sat up a bit, his chest bare. When Ritsu had fallen asleep, it was getting hot so he decided to take off his shirt for the cool temperature that met with his skin was relieving. He looked to Ritsu, his disheveled black bangs hanging over his face and making him look truly sexy, even though that was not his intention at all. His eyes were dark with the slightest tinge of amber. He WAS hungry, but for blood, not for sweets or actual food. Sometimes, when they really got naughty, he would drink Ritsuka's blood, but most of the time, he had bags of animal blood he had stashed away with him for him to eat whenever an urging came along.

And an urging was coming along right now. He stood up off the bed, stretching his long limbs and walking towards the suitcase. He opened it and took one bag out that was filled with a crimson liquid. He then turned to Ritsu when he asked about Japan. His eyes were sad and forlorn and that worried him. He put the bag back on top of the suitcase and walked over to his boyfriend. Ritsu was sitting on the bed so Aika walked close to him, tilted his chin up so that he could look into his eyes.

"Do you miss home that much, my love?" he asked, sincerity in his voice. If Ritsuka missed home that much, he would take him back the first chance he got. He hated to see his lover in pain and missing someone, especially if it was himself. He looked to him seriously, eyes masking the sadness in Ritsu's almost as if it was a mirror image. He missed home too, and his little brother as well but he wanted some alone time far away from home with his lover. He wanted to see the world with Ritsuka.

“Yes,” Ritsuka answered softly, his eyes meeting Aika’s. But there was a sadness in them as well, perhaps not intentional, but natural. Obviously Aika didn’t want him to be hurt- but at the same time, he didn’t want to go home, not yet at least and Ritsuka suddenly realized he was worrying him again. He always did that, always had Aika worrying about something. Ritsuka lifted a hand carefully to place it on Aika’s own, holding it still there for a moment before he smiled, masking his homesickness with ease as he shook his head. “But I want to go where you want to go Aika.” He stated, and if it was the world Aika wanted to see Ritsu wasn’t about to hold him back. Besides, they had eternity. They would return to Japan one day, and right now maybe it would do them both some good to get out and see the world. After all, he still had English to learn, even though he deeply detested the language, and there were a number of other languages and cultures left for them to explore.

He just hadn’t been away from home before; he had never left Japan before until now. The only traveling he did was between Akasaka and Tokyo. Other than that, he had always been at home in Japan. All their family had lived in Japan; there was really no reason to leave it. Plus, with his mother’s ill health, and his father’s constant demand at work, the family rarely went on vacations, and sending Ritsuka and Hatsu on a vacation together was risky. Ritsu wouldn’t be able to keep track of the seven year old, despite how attached they were and how alike they were in personalities. He would lose her somehow; he lost himself the majority of the time. So travel was pretty limited. But here he was given the opportunity and he didn’t realize how much he would actually miss Japan- the cherry blossoms in the spring… everything. But he also didn’t want to be without Aika, and homesickness would ease with time, he just had to hide it so he didn’t worry Aika anymore than he already had.

Ritsu looked at the bag in Aika’s hand and smiled deviously. “You don’t want my blood love?” He asked, with a playful pout, though he had wriggled out of Akai’s grasp before he could answer and bulleted across the room, to where the wash bin was. “Aika, how does this thing work?” He asked curiously, looking into the tub. It was much different than the ones they had in Japan, or more simply, in Japan- they had hot springs, and he hadn’t used a tub since he lived in Tokyo and that had been a long time ago indeed. “Where does the water come out?” He asked, as he began peeling off his clothes, revealing his pale skin, and perfectly sculpted body. He ran his hands through his hair, and looked over towards Aika, who was still preoccupied with his breakfast, before turning towards the tub.

“Hrm, how do you work?” He whispered more so to himself than Aika, and shrugged, his chest bare. He figured there was no use to remove his pants until he figured out how to get the tub to work. It was kind of chilly in the room- and he didn’t want to expose any skin he didn’t have to, but he supposed the water was going to be even chillier. “You wanna take a bath with me Aika?” He asked teasingly. Of course when he meant bath, it had never been a sexual way- at least in Ritsu’s mind. To him it was just like two children sharing a bath, nothing more, though the love and intimacy was still there. But he doubted two fully grown men, or one fully grown man, and one fully grown boy, were going to fit in the tub together. That’d be a site to see.

Aika smirked over his shoulder at his boyfriend who was busy bounding into the bathroom. After that offer of blood, he was tempted. He looked to the bag of animal blood in his hand and it was losing its' appeal more and more. He could remember the sweet and sugary taste of Ritsuka's blood and he honestly could not remember the last time he had a taste of the boys' blood. He smirked and waited until he heard Ritsu stop talking. He padded softly over to the bathroom, using his odd quality of being able to go anywhere without being detected of being heard.

His feet padded over the cold tiles in the room and he wrapped his arms around the boy's naked pale chest. He could feel the boys' sharp collarbones jutting out and he dipped his head down to brush his lips over the junction where his jugular vein was. He lightly kissed the place where the blood pulsed a bit quicker when the lips touched his frigid skin; then again, he was already used to the wamrth having long left Ritsu's body. After all, that's what came with being with a vampire.

"Your blood I do quite desire right now," he whispered, his voice taking on a lustful tone. He gently stroked Ritsuka's bare milky waist in a sensual motion as his lips began traveling up his neck to the spot right below his ear. Aika knew this to be his sensitive spot and he was ready to use it to his full advantage. He was going to melt this boy so fast that he was going to completely forget about that little craving for sweets he had earlier.

"I don't quite know how we can fit in this tub together," he whispered, biting his ear softly. "But I can wash you the best I can, koibito," he remarked, using his best bedroom voice, even though they were in the middle of a bathroom. He knew that the boy may be kooky, crazy and completely spontaneous but he knew that there was a dark side to him that loved it when they were sexual like this. Aika loved the adorable side of Ritsu but he also wanted to see the sexy side of his boyfriend that he knew only he could bring out.

“Aika…” Ritsuka whined once more, hovering over the tub as he inspected its spotless surface. The furnishing was foreign to him- and he very well could have been looking at a cabinet, or god knows what this country had. He sighed, brushing his fingertips against the tub’s cool surface as his toes curled on the linoleum beneath them. He went to turn around suddenly, hoping to drag Aika into the bathroom to show him how to use such a device- but Aika seemed to have mysteriously crossed the room without him noticing, drawing him into his bare chest, as their skin fell against one another.

It made Ritsu instinctively jump- even after all these years he wasn’t used to the boy’s quick movements and their inaudibility. He hadn’t even heard him cross the room- where Ritsu knew a few loose boards were bound to be and creak upon any weight put on them. But Aika had always been like that, fluid, regal. Ritsuka was always afraid that if he didn’t keep his eyes on him he might disappear all together- like a morning mist being blown by the wind, until it dissipated into blue sky.

“It has always been yours,” Ritsuka returned smoothly, his voice barely above a whisper as Aika’s lips trailed the line of his neck, and fell to just below his ear. It made his body near melt in Aika’s arms, though he stayed perfectly still, a small smirk playing its way across his face. The childish side of him was slowly beginning to disappear- Aika’s charm working its way over his mind, his body, until it slowly began to consume him, and Ritsuka was met with the sweet sensation of desire and intimacy that only Aika could bring out in him.

“Aren’t you afraid we might disturb the other guests?” Risu asked playfully, his voice still in that soft tone as the contours of their body fit perfectly together, the great masterpiece complete once again. Slowly, Ritsuka placed a hand on either side of Aika’s head, running his hands through his hair slowly, as he brought his lips to meet his own, the two hungrily interlocking with one another, before Ritsu pulled away, and let his lips trail the line of Aika’s jaw. “You best get some energy back before we do Aika,” Ritsu smiled, lips hovering inches above Aika’s skin as he tilted his head intentionally to the side, head resting gently on Aika’s shoulder as he exposed the pale flesh of his skin and closed his eyes, kissing Aika’s shoulder once gingerly before resting his head again.

    “Tsuki dayo Aika,”
