The night air was chilly and the sky was dark with stars glittering all across the sky. A light air blew across the railroad tracks and there wasn't a train in sight, the thing might have been abandoned. Rose was walking along the tracks, careful not to walk on the tracks for she was prone to accidents and she didn't fancy falling and getting caught in the tracks. A train would come, curse her luck, and she would be pieces of flesh underneath the wheels. Werewolf or not, she knew where her powers' limits lie. She didn't want her epitaph to be: "And the train claimed her life in a short second while she was stuck on the tracks, flailing about like an idiot..."

Yep. She could see it now. She sighed at that thought; she was hopeless. An utter moron, air headed and too spacey for her own good. She had a problem with staying focused and was too nervous of a person. She stopped walking along the train tracks and sat down on the dirt, far away from the tracks, her back facing them. She pulled her knees up to her chest and hugged her arms around her shins.

"Why am I so hopeless? So idiotic? So....spacey all the time?" she muttered to herself, leaning her chin on her folded arms and sighing. She looked at the dirt ground, nothing but loose pebbles and dirt. She could feel some tears welling up in her eyes; she could never do anything right. Why was that? Why was she so hopeless? She buried her head in the crook of her arms and knees and sobbed gently. "I'm such---such a--a--moron!" she wailed, throwing her head up to the sky and wailing a loud cry. She was utterly miserable, not knowing what to do.

She came here looking for someone, the man who had saved her life. She couldn't find him by sniffing him out. She was such a failure, she hadn't even gained a good grasp on her powers yet! She had them for three years and she still behaved as if she got them yesterday! She was a failure as a werewolf and as a human. The man named Jacques who saved her life .. pshh .. he should have left her to die. She was no good as a human and now she was no good as a werewolf. She sobbed again, bringing her head back to her knees.

    She was hopeless.

occ: Kissy, I'm assuming that she looks 15 because she was changed when she was fifteen ok?

Some might ask why a woman such as Zenovia was out this late at night. Didn't she know that being out at night on the streets of London was dangerous, especially for a woman. Yeah well Zenovia wasn't an ordinary woman and she didn't fear very much. In all actuality she is something to fear. So she had no problem with wandering the street of London this late at night. She wasn't wandering the streets though more like the railroad tracks. Yeah it was a bit spooky, not to her but maybe to others. It was a bit weird that she was out here on the railroad tracks in a dress though. Yeah strange indeed. But she had just left the masquerade. She had gotten upset with her brother and had left. Now here she was out here.

She wasn't scared of walking on the tracks he just wasn't. She wasn't walking period actually. Zenovia was actually on top of a deserted, forgotten, and old cart. Her dress was black so she wasn't worried about getting it dirty. She was sitting on the edge of the thing out of view of any body who might pass beneath her on the tracks. She doubted that anyone else would be out here at this time of night though. She was wrong though. She wasn't the only one weird enough to be out on the tracks by herself at this time of night.

Zenovia had been deep in thought and had been staring at the stars above her head for the longest time now. So she hadn't noticed the young girl walking besides the tracks below her until the girl had sat down. Which was the movement that had caught her eye. She watched the girl studying her and soon after realizing that she wasn't a mortal but a werewolf like herself. The girl looked young and smelled pretty new as well. Like she hadn't been turned to many years ago. Yeah, Nova could tell when a werewolf had been turned or born, anyone who could use their powers well enough could. Novia couldn't help but frown when she heard the girls words and yes she could hear them despite the child speaking so low.

It made her frown to see one of her own in such despair. What had happened to this girl for her to put herself down in such a way. Usually their kind were very prideful creatures. Zenovia had a soft spot for the young, her own kind or mortals. Seeing this one all alone and crying wasn't putting her in a better mood, but at least now she wasn't angry just worried. Worried about her little sister below her. After hearing her wail out as she had Zenovia couldn't help but calling out to her. "Are you okay dear", Zenovia asked with such sincerity in her voice that rarely befell upon others ears? Soon after speaking she swiftly and gracefully jumped off the carts edge and walked over to the girl. "What are you doing out here", Nova wondered aloud? She wanted to help the young wolf but didn't know how she could do so. For the first time tonight she waited patiently for a response.

Rose was in her own little world, worried senseless about something so ridiculous. She was worrying herself over nothing. She was the way she was and there shouldn't be a reason to be upset about it. She was naturally clumsy, and air-headed ... and spacey ... and easily distracted ....

Oh, who was she kidding? She was a mistake on legs. Her being turned into a werewolf must have been a cruel joke. Werewolves were cunning, precise, fast and swift. She was clumsy, idiotic, slow and naive. If someone told her that the sky was falling, she's look up in a heart beat, believing with every inch of herself that it was the truth. She was easy to fool which made the butt of many tricks and pranks. She was an idiot, a moron, a naive little girl who was given a gift she didn't deserve. This Jacques that she was looking for sure did make a mistake in changing her into a werewolf. She didn't know what the hell he had been thinking to give someone like such a great blessing. It only made her want to cry more.

She was going in a downward spiral before she felt another presence beside her. She snapped her head up once she heard a soft, concerned voice ask if she was okay. She rose an eyebrow and used her new sight to see someone walking towards her. It was a woman, older than her, it looked like. She was far from regular in the outfit she was wearing. The woman had on a beautiful black and red halter dress that glittered in the moonlight. Rose's eyes widened as she took in the flawless appearance of the woman walking toward her. She was more beautiful then anything or anyone she had ever seen since she came into this town. She could only stare dumbfounded as the woman approached and knelt down by her.

"What are you doing out here?" she had asked, inquiry clear as day in her voice. Rose was struck stupid for a few seconds before she realized that she should probably answer he question. She jumped a bit as she came back down to Earth.

"Me? Oh, right, of course you're talking to me. Who else would you be talking to? I mean, I'm the only one here after all," she rambled to herself, catching herself once more and shaking her head furiously. "Why am I always doing that?!" she exclaimed out loud, probably scaring the poor woman. She must've thought she was crazy. Rose closed her eyes and buried her head in her knees, sobbing once more. "I'm such an idiot ... ", she sobbed in a muffled tone, her shoulders shaking with her tears. She couldn't even have a proper conversation with someone as beautiful as the woman now kneeling beside her. She would drive her away because she was so freaking crazy. She groaned and calmed herself down.

"You think I'm crazy, don't you?" she asked in a quiet tone, a sob wracking her body as she inhaled sharply.

For Zenovia the night hadn't been all that great. She had actually left the masquerade pretty upset. If it weren't for the fact that she liked her mask and that she had nothing to change into she would have tore her mask and dress to shreds because she was so fired up. Not to mention she liked this outfit and tearing it up would be a total waste and she'd be angry with herself afterwards. Besides she looked good in it so that would just be a shame. She was so upset that she had been in her own head for the past, well however long she had been sitting on that deserted and old train cart. Her head was spinning so fast Jacques could have been dieing and she wouldn't have felt his pain right then. She had begun to calm down though as time had passed and her mind had started to clear. The notice of the young girl had also helped bring her out of her past state. She was good enough to have a conversations with others and not yell at them now. Not that she would have yelled at this young girl, who was already in a state of her own. Yelling might just make it worse. Besides Nova didn't yell at children which was what she considered this young wolf.

Apparently she seemed to think very lowly of herself. Negative things that should never be thought about oneself yet she thought them and from the looks of it she did it very often. Zenovia hadn't ever been that downing of herself. actually she rarely ever in her whole ninety four years of living had downed herself the way this young girl was doing now. Being a werewolf made her down herself more where as with Zenovia it had made her more confident. She supposed that things like that worked both ways, obviously and that everyone took things differently. As Zenovia had walked over to the girl she had been playing with her mask which she had taken off long ago. She realized she must have looked strange and badly misplaced to the girl. Zenovia smiled at her warmly as she had knelled down besides her. Novia waited on a response from the girl, an answer to the question she had asked but did not get one t first. She began wondering if the girl was shy and realized that she probably was. She tried giving her another smile to encourage her to speak but supposed the girl didn't see it because she still didn't answer.

She had begun to spin off into her own little world as she waited but was soon brought out of it because the young girl began speaking just as Zenovia's head started drifting up into the clouds that were her thoughts. Blinking and tilting her head to one side as she raised an eyebrow at the girl she listened to her rambling silently. She didn't find the girl weird or anything like that. Nervousness sometimes caused rambling was this girl nervous in Zenovia's presence or was just just a natural rambler, Nova wondered. When the girl screamed a question out loud to no one in particular Zenovia did a little jerk thing that humans usually did in a more jumpier way and her eyes grew wide in wonder. No she didn't think that her company was crazy, insane, out of her mind, or anything like that. Zenovia just believed that she had a great lack of confidence and needed a major confidence booster. Zenovia rubbed the girls head softly as she said, "stop your crying. You have nothing to cry over. Besides I don't think your crazy."

At first she could think of nothing else to say but then thought of something. "Oh by the way my name is Zenovia, what's yours", she asked trying to calm the girl down with small talk that wasn't about the girls rambling. She wasn't going to talk about the girl that would only make her feel worse.
