1. Select a celeb for your character's banner and post it in the Face off section. Canon character's already have their faces chosen. If you are creating an original character, do not select the same face that is being used or is reserved by a canon character.
2. Fill out your application. You will not be allowed to rp until your application has been accepted by one of the staff members. If we see you rping somewhere other than the Claims Department and Plot area, you will be warned. Three warnings equals a suspension. More than one suspension equals a banning. Nobody wants to be banned, so follow the rules.
3. Claim your power. Be creative with this. Try to take powers that have yet to be claimed, and pay attention to the list of powers that are off limits. Canon characters must exhibit the powers that have been given to them.
4. Decide what side your character will be on. Is he or she a hero? A villain? A criminal mastermind that moonlights for the Linderman Group? Again, Canon characters are on the sides they have been assigned to.
5. Decide where you want your character to live. Currently the residency options are in New York, Texas, Las Vegas, and Japan. This could all change soon. Claim your housing preference in the Claims Department.
6. Make sure that you register with a first and last name, unless you are playing a canon character that does not have one. If you register with only one name, you have three days to PM an admin for a name change before you are deleted.
There are some guidelines that you will need to go by when you rp.
1. Your character is either an evolved human with powers or a regular human.
2. You character is not god, so please do not try to control everything, take other people into consideration when you rp. For instance, Peter Petrelli cannot post:
Peter used the power he had gleaned from Ted to make himself a living nuclear reactor. He blew up the Bennet house, killing Mr. & Mrs. Bennet, Claire, and Lyle.
This is called godmodding. One cannot decide the fate of another's character.
3. While we do encourage subplots, please inform an admin if you decide to create one, we need to be sure that the plot will not interfere with other subplots that are already in progress.
4. Just have fun, if something makes you upset in rp, please do not take it out on the person that did it to you, this is not real life. If you have major issues with those you are rping with, resolve them through PM or on IM. NO ARGUING ON THE BOARD!
5. The magic word is Godsend.
6. This is a LIVE rp, meaning, you walk in and out of topics instead of starting your own threads for each individual RP.
