So I was reading Beans interivew Here where he discusses how he had numerous label offers before landing at EMI recently which made me notice just how much older less popular rappers be bullshittin it's like every rapper says the same shit "Oh I turned down a deal with YMCMB" or "Yeah I was almost on G-unit" or "Yeah Eminem and Dre offered me a deal but I passed" or "Yeah I was talking to Rocnation but we couldn't reach an agreement" everyone for the past two years been sayin this shit, and most the artist who say it aren't even that hot, now I can see someone like Fab, Drake, or Mac Miller saying some shit like that cuz them having label bidding wars make sense but you expect me to believe Beanie Sigel who's never went platinum despite having bars has labels swarming him? Or Lil' Kim's half dead looking ass getting calls from all over the place? c'mon now :facepalm:

i guess it depends ... but there gotta be some truth to it or the label heads will come out and b like "nah that did not happen"

All Im sayin is it doesn't all add up if Lil' Kim was really having Rocnation meetings why ain't she sign no deal yet? She says legally she can't make solo records but how about features? Plus notice how most artist who say these things end up on bottom of the barrel labels it don't add up
