This tape will be the second installment in my "Album That Never Was" series (Following Divided We Ball)
Theres no precise drop date but heres the main info you need to know, as a marketing campaign from Cham & Paul's former Label Paid-N-Full after their Debut Get Ya Mind Correct, they were suppose drop their solo debuts simultaneously Paul would drop "Chick Magnet" and Chamill was suppose to drop "The Color Changin' Lizard. That is until Paul left the group but due to contract obligations he wrapped up Chick Magnet and dropped it until his contract was up then he went back to swisha house, Cham didn't get to drop the solo album so due to his beefs and controversies he changed the title to "Controversy Sells" but do numerous disputes with the label heads Mad Hatta (also one of our radio personalities) & Big Cat the project kept gettin held up, but then when the Major label bum rushed houston in late 04 to early 05 Cham landed a deal with Universal, and wanted to drop his project on universal instead and once again wanted to drop it on the Same Day as Paul's Solo project "The People's Champ" (as he said on Gutta Gorillas) but the Paid-N-Full wouldn't let him have the songs or his title so he switched it up to The Sound Of Revenge (as he says on Victory "These old record labels tryin to advance and drop old material on a nigga") and had to record all new material for the project, so the Paid-N-Full had no choice but to take the unfinished material and other scraps and used it to piece together Controversy Sells with label head Big Cat takin shots at him all over it.
This Tape will basically be a "What If?!" Cham droped The Color Changin' Lizard as originally planned?

also be on the look out for the official divided we ball tape

[notes:Most material will be old but it'll be a collection of material I feel is the best of Cham over original production so if ya been followin the old mixtapes be ready to hear familliar tracks]

March maddness tape would be fuckin awesome, what kinda shit would be on it though?

Im not sure yet it depends on what leaks between now and the release cuz I usually build my playlist around whats new, It would be a Color Changin' click tape but droppin 4 Cham related tapes in a row would get old (Divided We Ball, All Star Weekend 2k10, Color Changin' lizard, then that) Im not sure tho it'll mos def be a variety of tracks trust me

yeh I'd like a good variety of everything

there will be a decent amount of everything
