Gabriel continued to hold her, arms around her in a firm yet not strangling embrace. It seemed to be providing the comfort she needed and he wasn't quite sure what else he could really do to help.... So he might as well just hold her and keep rubbing her back. It didn't seem to be getting him glares or angry remarks, and that made him happy. And she wasn't on the ledge. He didn't know how many times he could say he was thankful for that little bit. She wasn't going to go over the edge, and she would not kill herself. That was a very good thing. She was still shaking though... He wasn't sure how to help her with that problem.

He smiled slightly when she looked up to thank him.
"You're most welcome," he responded, still smiling as she looked up at him. A thought came into mind that he wasn't quite sure where it came from. However, it seemed as good an idea as ever and it might just help her feel better. So he leaned down and slowly, as if unsure how she would react to said thing, kissed her gently on the lips.

Andy froze. Her breathing and shaking stopped. Her heart even seemed to stop for a moment. Her eyes were wide as soon as Gabriel's lips touched hers. She was surprised. Why was he kissing her? Was it a cruel joke? Andy was suddenly self-concious of the blood on her mouth and the tears on her cheeks. She must look a fright. Her first kiss should have been romantic. She should be all dressed up and look at nice. Not right after she just tried to kill herself!

She waited a moment for Gabriel to pull away in disgust. But he did not. Andy, unsure of herself did what she thought one did when they kissed someone. She closed her eyes and let her hands move up to his shoulders. They still felt awkward there. Just as her lips did. What did she do with them? So she would let Gabriel deal with that.

Needless to say, she was enjoying the kiss. Andy had stopped shaking, and while her heart rate was still fluttering, she didn't mind.

Gabriel was glad she seemed to accept the kiss when it came. Well, not immediately accept it persay, but at least she allowed it. Her body seemed to be reacting well, especially noting that she already seemed to be calming down. The shaking was stopping, which was a good thing in and of itself. Hopefully it would continue to do so. He wasn't sure exactly what she was thinking, but then that was part of the experience. If you knew exactly what was going on, what fun was there in ever reaching out to do something? Well, in any case she hadn't pushed him away forcefully or tried to pry herself away from him in desperation to get away from it. That was a plus.

He continued to hold the kiss, not separating his lips from hers as he held it. As long as she seemed to be willing to let him he was going to keep it there. He kept his arms wrapped around her, slightly more firm now. His hand had stopped rubbing her back to just hold her there. He was happy when she decided to put her arms on his shoulders, further sign she was accepting this kiss.

"So, how are you feeling now?" he asked, his lips parting from hers only long enough to ask the question and draw in some oxygen before resuming the kiss.

Andy's mind was becoming muddled from the kiss. She had dreamed about her first kiss for such a long time, but she never thought that it would be this good. Her thoughts were trying to stay focused, yet they kept falling under the haze of pleasure she felt. She was trying to question why Gabriel was kissing her, and holding her, and just well, the whole situation. Her heart was having none of that. It shushed her mind up, and told it to just enjoy itself. After all, now that the whole world knew she was a freak, who would want to kiss her? This may be the only time.

She smiled to herself, and pulled her arms tighter around Gabriel's neck. She didn't want to worry. She didn't want to think of her foolish she'll look when he would pull away, and leave her in disgust. All Andy wanted to do was enjoy herself, and escape from all worry.

Gabriel pulled his face away for a moment, and Andy opened her mouth to reply to his question, but he pressed his lips right back to hers. Andy would have been surprised, but she really couldn't be now. Her mind was being controlled by her heart.
