Welcome!
Welcome to Hogwarts Night Class
Hogwarts Night Class exists in an alternate reality, in which the worlds of Harry Potter and Twilight have been compiled, with bits from Vampire Night. The current year is 2008.
Headmaster Kittley and Professor Cullen have come together to try an experiment. As the Cullens have spent years living a vegetarian lifestyle, their influence has spread to many others and together, the two have decided to try their experiment at Hogwarts. The Night Class was created for vegetarian vampires to maintain a lifestyle submerged with humans, in hopes that maybe, one day, the two can live together peacefully.
Only the Headmaster and the Cullens know of the vampire presence, except for two students. Adalia Leigh and Tatsu Szabo are the Student “Night Guards”, with powers higher than the Prefects. Their job is to ensure that students remain indoors at night and to keep the humans and vampires at a safe level. At meals they ensure that vampires don’t reveal themselves to humans and it is their duty to try and prevent humans from learning of their existence.

This is me, failing at like, life. Yes. I am awesome.
Adalia's stomach was in knots as she ran from the castle. Her shoes were a hindrance right now; she paused long enough to tear them from her feet, effectively ending their career as usable footwear, and tossed them aside as she rushed forward again.
She hadn't been paying well-enough attention, it seemed. She'd been watching those inside, and hadn't noticed Bella freaking Swan sneak off... Eva had come to get her, saying something about Tatsu jumping fences and looking intense. Which... really, meant something horrible was going on.
And it was.
The scene she'd just come upon was utterly surreal. Tatsu. Tatsu was being...
"No," she whispered, whipping out her wand. "Stupefy! Stupefy stupefy stupefy!"
She kept repeating the spell in horror, not knowing what else to cast. She wasn't strong enough to pull the creature off her best friend, and she knew that. Getting closer than she was would be a death sentence in itself.
"GET OFF OF HIM!"

Tatsu thought that Kei would bite Bella. In fact, he had clearly seen the image in his mind, prepping himself for the nightmares he was going to have whenever he managed to get to sleep. The monster had launched and Tatsu had blindly leapt after them, unsure of where he had flung himself. But he knew something was wrong. Bella was wailing screaming and he felt... blind. The last thing he had seen was Kei flying at him and someone running towards them.
A searing pain set off an explosion to all of Tatsu's senses; an overwhelming flavour of acid and copper in his mouth; a far too loud cry of pain rang in his ears; blinding light behind his closed lids burned his eyes; even his nose picked up on the peculiar taste on his tongue, the acidic, metallic flavour overloading his taste buds. Most notably was the feeling. The way his body felt to be consumed by flames, searing his skin, burning him alive. Everything was exaggerated in his head; the taste, the sound, the searing light, the pain, oh MERLIN the pain. Why wouldn't that yelling stop? It was loud and incessant, crying and screaming inaudible words. A wet sensation was warm around his eyes and an ethereal sensation washed over him, crawling across his skin, sinking into his body. It was a dull sensation, quelling the pain that was burning through his veins, quelling the light, the taste, and the smell, allowing darkness to swallow him whole.
But the sound.
That awful, strangled noise continued, pained and shrill.
Eva, thought Tatsu as he felt the edges of his mind blur. Her face loomed before his lidded eyes and then shifted, mutated. Fangs dripping with blood, eyes dark with hunger lust; the face of a monster. His body was shaking. Hard. Oh Merlin, it hurt. Run Eva. Get away, go away.
Darkness was filling his mind. Dissolving to black and the image disappeared. Groggy. Heavy. He felt. Eurgh. Disjointed. Thoughts weighed too much, they were too thick. Tatsu wanted... sleep... lethargy pumped through his veins, painful and searing in an almost comfortably uncomfortable way. Now, the crying was distant, fading.
Monster... Eva
He was limp.

Somehow, as she watched the scene unfold before her, Bella had thought that maybe, just maybe it would all be alright. That the vampire would realise what he was doing and stop or that Tatsu would win. Somehow. But this was not a fairy tale. It was a nightmare. And in nightmare, the bad guys win.
Just like the vampire had ... when he bit Tatsu.
Bella was still sitting on the floor, her eyes wide with horror. She didn't even realise when Ada barged in. Her eyes were locked on Tatsu and the vampire.
"No, Tatsu!" Bella got off her feet and looked around trying to find something, anything, that would get the vampire off Tatsu. She was no witch. She didn't have magic. She couldn't help Ada with a wooden stick. She needed to do something though. She had to help him. It was her fault that Tatsu was in this situation in the first place. She should have stayed in. Should have just endured the ball. If she hadn't been in the courtyard, then Tatsu ...
EDWARD! WHERE ARE YOU?!
Tears were spilling down Bella's cheek as she looked around. She hadt to help. She had to.

Serena Windsor ran as fast as she could (which was pretty fast) without the human's noticing. Not that enough of them hadn't heard the girl scream on top of her voice, but perhaps they hadn't noticed why she had scremed. They'd know, eventually. Somewhere in the back of her mind, she realised her gorgeous red dress was ruined. Hmph. She had been rather fond of the dress, but there was nothing she could do about it. It wasn't like Serena would have worn it again anyways.
Still. It was a gorgeous dress. And now it was dirty. She had even heard it tear when it got caught in a branch on her way over.
Stepping into the courtyard, the blonde stopped, analysing the situation. The blood smelt delicious. She could hear the blood flow in his veins. Taste the scent in her mouth and she could feel the monster in her pouncing at the opportunity. Blood. She hadn't tasted it in such a long time now. Kei had already bitten the human, it seemed. So there was no help for it. Maybe she should just let Kei drain the human, because otherwise, he'd turn into a vampire. Or he could share with her.
Death was better, right? Most of them seemed to think so. Serena certainly had when she had realised what she had become.
The blonde shook her head nonetheless and, a moment later, her arms were around Kei's waist, pulling him away from the human. She was strong and she could easily pull him off. "Kei." She whispered, tugging him away and ignoring the burn in her throat. If she hadn't been controlling her thirst for over two decades .... "Leave him alone. This is not why you're here. Remember why you came to Hogwarts, Keitaro." Using his full name added a nice effect to it, didn't it? It was a pity he had never mentioned his surname. That would have been more dramatic. Princess Serena happened to like drama. "It wasn't to hunt humans." Or witches and wizards, as these people were.
The princess thought she had done a rather nice job with that speech. She just hoped that Keitaro would not resist and ruin her already ruined dress.

This... no. No. It was all wrong.
Adalia very nearly dropped her wand as she closed the distance between herself and Tatsu's limp body. One of the female vampires had torn Keitaro away; Adalia couldn't see which through the hazy tears in her eyes.
"GET HIM OUT OF HERE NOW," she screamed at the female as she skidded to her knees next to Tatsu's immobile form. There was so much blood... She dragged Tatsu into her lap, wrapping her arms around him even as one of her hands tore at the bottom edges of her dress. The bleeding had to stop... His screams were still echoing around her head, though long absent from his lips. "Tatsu... Tatsu stay with me, please! Please!"
Damn dress... wouldn't tear. She yanked on his tie instead, dragging it over the wound and pulling it tight.
"Bella Swan you BETTER not be just sitting there, I swear on Merlin's grave that you BETTER be going to get HELP RIGHT NOW." Adalia's tone was dangerous, her voice oddly strangled. "This is all YOUR FAULT GET YOUR ASS MOVING RIGHT NOW BEFORE I HEX YOU."
His skin was so hot... Adalia choked back a strange sound and held him tighter.

Serena had convinced herself, over the years when she hunted them that she didn't care about humans. What were they to her? They were food - that is what they were. Just like chickens were to humans. Yet, she had been unable to deny the fact that sensing her pray's terror before they died was ... disturbing. Greatly disturbing.
Oh, yes. There had been a selfish reason behind her vegetarian lifestyle. She wasn't noble. She was a brat. A selfish, spoilt brat and she knew it.
Feeling her pray's feelings, as they stared into her eyes with terror, was not just disturbing, it was downright depressing. With animals, she could avoid the eye contact. At least it kept her sane.
But, if she didn't care about humans then why was it that she was relieved when Kei let the human go? She admitted that humans were interesting. So then why was she relieved, just a little, that Kei hadn't killed the boy.
Oh, she could still smell it. Taste it. It was like someone was teasing her with a dessert, a lavish, delicious dessert which she couldn't touch. The logical thing to do would have been to stop breathing. Instead, the blonde took a deep breath, letting the scent attack her senses. Jaw clenched, she closed her eyes for a moment, still keeping her grasp on Kei in case he attacked the moment she let him go.
Ah, it smelt wonderful.
The princess opened her eyes when she heard Kei's laughter ring in the courtyard and she narrowed her eyes at him.
Kill him?
For a few moments, Serena honestly considered it. She was no longer standing in the current century, holding Kei so he wouldn't attack the human. Serena was back in the early seventeen hundreds, wearing a white gown ... her wedding gown ... and howling in pain in a cave. A cave that had been her secret hideout when she wanted to get away from her governess or her caretaker. It had been her sanctuary. And that was where she had been bitten. That vampire had robbed her off her wedding-night. When Serena had gained her conciousness, she had honestly wished, with all her heart, that he had killed her instead.
And how she hated herself! Her ability to feel her pray's terror just made it worse. A LOT worse.
Could she really let him face the same fate? Should she?
As Serena pondered, her grip over Kei loosened ever so slightly. She should let him do it. Let him finish this boy. Dying a victim would be better than being turned into a vampire and stalking the shadows for eternity. They could still stop it.
But was it their decision to make?
It was the girl's shriek that pulled ber back into reality. "Come on, Kei." Serena grabbed his arm and let his waist go. "We need to get out of here. Now." Maybe they could suck the poison out. There could still be hope, and she was not destroying it. She tugged his arm. Hard.

Edward. Edward. EDWARD. OHGOD EDWARD WHERE ARE YOU?!
Bella stood, transfixed, tears still spilling down her cheek and she could do nothing but watch as a female vampire showed up at the scene and prayed the male one off Tatsu. Relief flooded into Bella. Oh, Tatsu was going to be okay. He would be fine. Thank Heavens the femal vampire turned up on time, or Tatsu'd be dead by now.
Her guilt still lingered. Oh, if she had just stayed away an- NO!
Chocolate brown eyes wide, Bella watched as the male vampire asked the blonde if he could kill Tatsu. NO! She wouldn't let him, would she? She couldn't! At least he was alive!
Ada? What?!
Lip quivering, Bella Swan's eyes filled with tears as she heard Ada accuse her for what had happened. And she was right. It was her fault. Entirely her fault, that Tatsu was ... but he would be alright. Yes, he would be. Pressing her lips together, Bella nodded and turned and ran, ran as fast as she could towards the castle.
She had to get Carlisle.
Now!
