Welcome!
Welcome to Hogwarts Night Class
Hogwarts Night Class exists in an alternate reality, in which the worlds of Harry Potter and Twilight have been compiled, with bits from Vampire Night. The current year is 2008.
Headmaster Kittley and Professor Cullen have come together to try an experiment. As the Cullens have spent years living a vegetarian lifestyle, their influence has spread to many others and together, the two have decided to try their experiment at Hogwarts. The Night Class was created for vegetarian vampires to maintain a lifestyle submerged with humans, in hopes that maybe, one day, the two can live together peacefully.
Only the Headmaster and the Cullens know of the vampire presence, except for two students. Adalia Leigh and Tatsu Szabo are the Student “Night Guards”, with powers higher than the Prefects. Their job is to ensure that students remain indoors at night and to keep the humans and vampires at a safe level. At meals they ensure that vampires don’t reveal themselves to humans and it is their duty to try and prevent humans from learning of their existence.

Edwin kept his usual grin in place as he approached the mirror, not bothering to think of the fact that the other male was looking at him in a rather weird way. "Thanks!"
Once he in front of the mirror, he checked his face in a few different angles before assessing that even though his curls were wild, he was not that bad. After all, his hair was always like that and if he touched it, it would probably get even worse so why bother? Yep, he was just fine like that.
Turning around to face the guy at the same time he spoke, Ed couldn't help but grin. "Why, shouldn't I be?," He asked, he too placing his hands inside the pockets of his trousers, leaving only his thumbs out. "I've heard everyone can be happy, no matter the age."

One of her slender fair fingers played absentmindedly with one lock of her brown hair, as she made her way to the Ravenclaw common, humming some random but happy tune, thinking about those incredibly pale people that formed the 'Night Class', and mentally marveling at their inhuman beauty. Fiorella had seen some good looking people before, but these ones were just... well, they left her speechless. They were so ridiculously beautiful that it hurt. No doubt their good looks had been a low blow for those girls (and boys, too) around the school that had a fragile self-esteem. Heck, she did not have self-esteem problems, and when she first saw them, Fiorella had felt very insiginificant, too.
Still pondering this over --and feeling strangely light headed as she remembered the perfect faces of those boys-- the girl soon reached the sixth floor corridor, the fact that she was headed to the Ravenclaw Common Room already forgotten. However, the more she walked down the corridor, the more she was taken back to reality. There were some voices there, the place was not empty. Following the voices, the girl had to squint her eyes a little to make sense of the faces of the people. One of the voices sounded oddly familiar. As she walked even more closely, the girl, managed to see --and recognized-- the hair of one of the boys. She smiled.
"Hey, Edwin," Greeted the girl with a friendly smile on her pink lips, as soon as she reached the place where he was standing. Remembering at once that Edwin had not been alone, the fourth year turned to look at the other boy. He was older, that was for sure. And he was also much taller than she was. And, well, he was sort of good-looking. Okay, maybe he wasn't sort of good-looking--he was probably good-looking, but since just moments before she had been thinking about the Night Class people... Well, she was biased. "Hi," Muttered Fiorella timidly.

Edwin was obviously way too happy. Perhaps his head had not quite recovered from the fall that had messed his brain a few days ago? Well, that did seem highly possible from the way a grin stretched across his lips at the sound of a voice he was growing to know only too well and due to the fact that he suddenly felt like if he was gliding even though his feet had obviously not left the stony ground for a single second. Yes, he truly should go say hello to the school nurse. Ah, he might hate doctors and the likes but... heck, maybe there could be a new one. Hopefully a cute and young one who had graduated not long ago and -- okay, so he was letting his thoughts move too far ahead. Ahem.
Beaming, he turned around to face his Ella. Aaah, Ella, Ella. He'd have to write her a song one of these days so that he could see her dancing again and hopefully end up on the floor with her on top of him again. Hehe. She was a warm blanket, after all.
"Hello, Ella," He greeted back brightly.
It was a good thing he had come across that mirror, eh? Judging from the timid look on her face she was finally realizing just how good-looking he was. Hehe. It was absolutely great to know that. Still, Ed couldn't help but want to waddle to her and circle her shoulders with his arm so that she wouldn't feel so shy. After all, she had been on top of him. Seeing him shouldn't get her like that, right? Needless to say Ed hardly noticed how Fiorella's gaze was on the random boy he had met. Big ego, much?
Turning back to the guy who had not yet replied to him (probably his words had been way too intelligent for the other male to find a good answer), he bowed his head. "If you'll excuse me, chap," He said, hands still inside his pockets.
With no delay, he swiftly turned to face the Ravenclaw, grin already back in place, and walked in her direction. Taking his hand from his pocket, he offered his arm to her. "How've you been, my dear Ella?"

What she was doing in the sixth floor, scowl evident on her pasty face, wasn't a huge mystery. The Slytherin seventh year was known to wander the higher up floors in search of her Gryffindor friend, Eva Han. The same Eva Han who had a tendency to find herself in sticky situations.
Stomping, as was Rina's usual manner of walking, down the corridor, a particular head of curls caught her attention. "Oi! Curly Top!" called out the black-haired girl loudly. Her hair, always in low pigtails, bangs clipped back away from her forehead made her look more innocent than she truly was.
If she was innocent at all.
"Mingling, are we?" Attempting to be cordial with the same sex, Rina tried to smile at the other girl except--it looked more like she was snarling in her direction.

Piper was walking slowly down the hallway, not really paying much attention to anything really, as her nose was stuffed in a book, and she was much to engrossed with what she was reading to be bothered to pay attention to her surroundings.
She had gotten goo at walking and reading, she had walked down a whole flight of stairs and the hallway, without nary a trip or stumble, and she was feeling might proud of herself..
However, pride goeth befor a fall, and that is just what she did.. Fall, she tripped over a small crack and went tumbling down, landing face first her book had gone flying and hit her in the head on the way down..
"Dear Merlin.." She muttered softly as she lay on the hard floor for a bit, just dazed..

Brenna slowly started making her way back up toward the common room, knowing that pretty much everyone in school was buzzing about the masquerade that night. Especially the announcement that the Night Class was going to be there. But she really wasn't as jazzed about that, after she'd already met one of them in the library. And Peter hadn't seemed that interesting. Of course, she'd been more focused on trying to figure out why Tarot's cards had tried to kill them then, and she sort of still wanted to know. She hadn't really seen the Gryffindor much since then, which only piqued her curiosity more. Not to mention the simple fact she felt drawn to him. And that also might explain her apathetic response to the obvious attraction the Night Class held for everyone else.
Lost in her thoughts, she suddenly heard someone trip in front of her, and blinked as she was brought back to reality. And then she sped up to go over to the blonde. Leaning over, her dark hair falling over one shoulder as she knelt down to retrieve the book that had gone flying. "Are you okay?," she asked softly, her blue eyes concerned as the girl lay there dazed.

Piper was roused from her daze by a soft voice coming above her. "Uh, yes I think I am okay." She said softly as she slowly pushed herself up off the stone floor. Merlin why did these floors have to be so hard?
She groaned softly as she pulled herself into an upright position and she smiled a bit at the girl who had found her book. "It's my fault for reading when I should have been watching where I was going.." She gave a half smile and sighed a bit. "Thank you." She said gently with a warm smile.

Brenna stood back up slowly as the girl responded to her, extending a hand to help her get up off the floor then handing the book back over. "That can't have been a very pleasant feeling, landing on the stone like that," she commented then, smiling a little as they both regained standing positions. "People should only read and walk at the same time when they are completely aware of what's around them. I know I don't try it a lot, and I love to read."
Extending a hand again, she smiled a bit more of a genuine smile as she realized how confusing things might have been, looping a stray lock of her dark hair behind her ear with the other hand. "Sorry for being so odd. I'm Brenna, by the way," she said. "You night want to be a little more careful, what with the big masquerade tonight and everything. Even with masks, I don't think you want to accessorize with too many bruises," she joked, trying to go for a more . . . happy mood. Or at least trying to hide her own distractions.

Piper grinned a little. "No, it's not a pleasant feeling falling on them, one might want to try a cushioning charm before you fall.." Piper joked softly as she smiled at Brenna. "Yes, I know. I was doing so well at the walking and reading thing, that crack came out of nowhere and tripped me." She smiled a little.
"It's okay, I'm Piper. And hey, odd is fun huh?" Piper shook her head a bit as she heard about the masquerade party. "Ohh well,I would say bruises go splendidly with my outfit, if I were going, but I'm not.." Piper brushed off her jeans with a free hand. " So, what is your costume going to be?" She asked curiously.

Brenna's eyes took on a slightly odd cast at the first thing the girl said in response to her friendly comments, as she tried to figure out if she was being laughed at or not. That was the one problem with having been alone a lot; she wasn't quite well-versed in teasing, especially from other girls. The friends she'd made since her unfortunate abandonment of Ireland were few and far between, and it seemed like more often than not here at hogwarts she neded up interacting with boys. But she finally smiled, as she decided nothing was meant by the innocent comment from this girl. "I would think a person would need to know they were about to fall, for a cushioning charm to really be effective," she mused, before laughing a little at the next statement. "Cracks and other things seem to come out of nowhere a lot around here, to trip people up . . ." Run into your feet and then ultimately try to electrocute you, she added in her head, thinking of the incident with Tarot from ages ago now. At least to her young mind.
She grinned as the introductions were made, especially at the comment about being odd. "Nice to meet you, Piper," she said, before laughing again a little. "I seem to be considered odd around Hogwarts, at least to a lot of the people I've talked to. I guess you could say it's fun. It certainly gets people's attention, but I'm honestly not that strange, usually." She trailed off as Piper said she wasn't going to the masquerade, tilting her head slightly to one side as she looked at the other girl in barely hidden astonishment. "You're not going? Why?" She paused for a second before continuing her line of questioning. "I thought pretty much everyone was going . . ." She knew, what, like three people here, and she was still going. So she was curious why Piper wasn't. She shrugged at the question posed to her though. "Costume? I wouldn't really call it that . . ." She hadn't really been prepared for something of this magnitude, so she'd had to send an owl to one of her few friends outside, asking for something to wear. And she certainly didn't consider the black dress a costume. Even if it didn't really look like anything she'd expect her classmates to wear.

Piper nodded as Brenna spoke, her tone was light and teasing, she wasn't making fun of the girl, it was her nature to be light and teasing instead of serious. Her whole family was that way, but some people weren't used to it really.
"Yes, a person would need to know that they are falling, therefore they would need to know the future, but since they knew the future they could prevent the fall, thus negating the need for the cushioning charm." Piper smiled and laughed a bit. "Maybe the floors just need to be softer, or I need to pay more attention to where I am going.." She said with a soft smile.
Piper grinned, " Well, I am sometimes considered to be odd as well, with my love for chocolate and my teasing humor, some people find me strange, but I'm really not, so perhaps we are alike in that way?" She asked as she raised and eyebrow.
She laughed a little at the other girls look of shock. "Well, I don't know a whole lot of people here, and I don't like big crowds. I suppose I would go if someone asked me too, but for me to go by myself, and just stand in the corner and watch, well, it wouldn't be a whole lot of fun. I will probably peek in once to see how it looks.. but that is it." She explained, She really did have a fear of crowds.
"Well then what would you call it? Dress?.." She asked softly.
