Welcome!

The large room is tastefully decorated, and scattered about are numerous large, high-backed armchairs. There are several tables on which the students may do homework, and a fireplace which is mostly left unlit. Behind the tables is a large storage closet which contains ingredients used in the Night Class's experiments. They are used sparingly and only in experiments approved by Professor Carlisle. On either side of the fireplace are the stairs to the dormitories: Gentlemen to the left, and ladies to the right. This is the meeting place of the Night Class.

Elinor was fuming. She had'nt been at this school long, but she hated it. She wanted to sit, but she couldn't stay still for long. Coming down from the dormitories, one could swear her eyes flashed red, as she paced heavily. She felt like a caged tiger. This just wasn't fair!

She muttered to herself, which sounded a bit like snarling, placing her hands on her hips.

Rainbow wandered about the common room because she was restless and wanted to hunt and she hated being coped indoors like an animal

Beginning to growl lowly, she turned, but her eyebrows raised as she saw another girl, who also appeared in quite the upset mood. Nodding and smiling, Elinor sat heavily in an armchair, "Evening."

The fire was out, and it seemed to bother Elinor. She reached, standing briefly, up on top of the high mantle, and her thin fingers fell upon a dusty matchbox. She struck one after a few tries and threw it in between the few, dry logs. Given a few seconds, the flame caught.

"Ridiculous.", she sneered as she settled back down in the chair. Crossing one leg over the other, she straightened her dark velvet dress.

Rainbow nodded again and said "Yeah i am not very good at being locked up like an animal"

"Hmph.", Elinor replied, glaring into the fire, "I've been captured about three hundred times, these past forty years or so, and fought my way out of it, but this time...I just don't know."

Rainbow nodded and said "I have been in a few tight spots myself last time i was caught was late 70's and i had to go into hiding after that"

"Hiding.", she stood, and spat into the fire, "I'm done with hiding. If they want me, they gotta come an' fight...Buncha lousy gits!" Elinor had begun to pace like a caged tiger.

Rainbow nodded again and said "Yeah i suppose that there is no point in hiding anymore because i just feel as though they are stopping me from doing something i love"

Interesting Night, pulling up his collars- Camuel entered the common room- It was slightly cold, not that He could feel it- Just that He felt the tingly rush round his skin after sucha night. Another smirk crossed his lips.

Musing still, He drifted toward the arm chair in the empty common room- and set himself down, letting out a sigh of whatever. Now He had nothing to do.

Pity.

If she was human, Serena would have yawned right about now. How boring. One would have thought life surrounded by so many humans would have some colour in it. It was rather dull from where Serena stood. But then again, she wasn't surrounded by humans. She was surrounded by vampires. Not that vampires were boring.

But Serena always thought human reactions were rather amusing.

As she looked around the room she entered, she saw a vampire sitting on his own and although she needed to catch his eye to know what he was feeling, Serena thought he looked like he was bored too.

Well, maybe they could entertain each other?

Lightly flicking her blonde hair behind her shoulders, the vampire strolled over and settled herself on a chair across from the other vampire.

"A rather dull day, isn't it?" Her musical voice rang softly in the room.

He frowned, annoyed by the irritation of the tingly feeling of warmness with the cold around him. He was thinking of leaving, go around the castle- see if anything of interest might catch his eye. He needed it-

when He had been asked to come here, He had been afraid of this- that He'd be stuck, with nothing to do. He enjoyed his Vampire Nights with so much - traveling, hunting- enjoying the love of his nights with the fullest but now He was stuck here ..

He sighed- leaning back, suddenly feeling too old in his 21 year old body. He was old, VERY old- hundreds old but still ..

He knew someone was near, these days- He didn't get the feeling of alone, Vampire's were everywhere so when someone spoke to him He didn't feel surprised. "Oh, very much-" He replied, casually. "I am waiting for a Vampire to snap .."

"Hmm. It'll be rather unlucky if that happened around humans, though, wouldn't it?" She said as though she was talking about the weather. "Wouldn't want our human ... er ... schoolmates to be frightened. Even if they are magical."

She had always thought things like magic and vampires didn't exist when she was human. But look where she was. In a school of magic and a vampire herself. What a pity. She was glad that she wasn't a witch though. Not a healthy thing to be in those times. She would have been burnt alive.
