Welcome to Hogwarts Night Class
Hogwarts Night Class exists in an alternate reality, in which the worlds of Harry Potter and Twilight have been compiled, with bits from Vampire Night. The current year is 2008.

Headmaster Kittley and Professor Cullen have come together to try an experiment. As the Cullens have spent years living a vegetarian lifestyle, their influence has spread to many others and together, the two have decided to try their experiment at Hogwarts. The Night Class was created for vegetarian vampires to maintain a lifestyle submerged with humans, in hopes that maybe, one day, the two can live together peacefully.

Only the Headmaster and the Cullens know of the vampire presence, except for two students. Adalia Leigh and Tatsu Szabo are the Student “Night Guards”, with powers higher than the Prefects. Their job is to ensure that students remain indoors at night and to keep the humans and vampires at a safe level. At meals they ensure that vampires don’t reveal themselves to humans and it is their duty to try and prevent humans from learning of their existence.

Day of Week Saturday
Time of Day Nighttime. 8 p.m. The masquerade has just begun. Day Class students are to be either at the ball or in their dorms; no wandering the school and they can only be outside on the fenced in terrace. Night Class students are to be only at the masquerade or their own school. No Night Class students are to wander Hogwarts or the grounds.
Weather Unusually warm with mostly clear skies. A few clouds have rolled in but the full moon is still visible and glows with a bright silver aura. No sign of rain and the humidity is down to a shocking 20%

Vampires may NOT wander the Hogwarts grounds or school by themselves. All Night Class students are accompanied by a Night Guard and may only talk to Day Class students while each is on their own grounds.

The ball had been going well, despite the babbling potion slipped into the punch bowl. However, Kittley has suddenly announced that all students return to the Great Hall and has retreated the terrace back to the school, locking the students inside the masquerade. Outside, though, looms danger. Bella Swan had slunk away and tried to go off to the Night School, but Night Guard Tatsu Szabo caught her, just before a hungry Kei launched at her. Night Guard Adalia Leigh came running after Eva found her, in time to see Kei attacking Szabo…

Because we are merging our vampires from Twilight with the world of Vampire Knight, this requires us to make some rules, decide what a vampire is like in this world. We've established a few guidlines and such to follow as you play a vampire. For all vampire students it is IMPORTANT that you follow this.

0. The uber rule. The humans DO NOT KNOW of the existence of vampires. Express permission is needed from the admins to reveal said fact. Punishment will be severe if this rule is broken, and there will be memory charms all around, performed by Headmaster Kittley. Remember your kitteh, Cuddles? Guess what? You won't if you break this rule.

1. Yes. The vampires DO sparkle in sunlight, so while the sun is out, stay behind windows. During sunset and twilight, you are safe, because the minimal sunlight can won't affect them.

2. Vampires CAN turn humans with their bite. Vampires are NOT allowed to bite humans without permission from the Admins and the human character. However, if a vampire bites, the human can be saved if another vampire sucks the venom out.

3. Vampires attending Hogwarts are NOT allowed to bite a human. Physical contact with humans is not advised and Night Guard intervention may occur.

4. Because Vampires cannot bite humans and they are NOT allowed to bite ANY animals on the grounds, they feed off of the blood tablets. This is not fully satisfying, though it will quench the thirst and hunger. Biting a human may result in expulsion if the vampire is caught.

5. Like the humans, Vampires MUST follow the Night Guards, for their word is law. They are much like Prefects or Head Boy and Girl, but they have control over the Vampires. Failure to adhere to their rules results in suspension.

6. Vampires do have powers, we all know this. However, don't go overboard with it. We, the admins, reserve the right to edit at will. Please PM an admin if you're unsure about this.

7. Unlike "Vampire Knight", our RPG does not have Nobles, Purebloods, or anything of that nature. We also don't have a "Level E". All vampires are created equal.

8. Yes, we DO use Twilight vampires, therefore, they do have the golden eyes, unless they feast on humans, when their eyes become red tinted. Vampires who are too hungry have their eyes turn dark.

These aren't all the rules, we will be updating this post often so check back every once in a while.
