Below is a list of canon character. Please remember that Canon characters are first come, first serve. If the character you wanted it taken, either choose another or create another character. I'm sure all the characters below would love to be your friend!

NOTE: If you do not log in for a certain period of time, we may have to take away your priviliges of a Canon character. Other people may want to be one and obviously, Canon characters will be a little bit more important to the plot then others. If we don't have a James Potter like, ever, we'll put him back up for another person.

Gryffindors:

James Potter

-nickname: Prongs


James is a tall boy with untidy black hair and glasses. He is a Chaser on the Gryffindor Quidditch team, and Captain and makes sure everyone knows it. He was something of an obnoxious youth for the majority of his time at school; he liked to show off and was exceptionally self-confident. He habitually ruffled his hair to make it even untidier, to look as though he'd just got off his broomstick. He is somewhat of a bully, hexing innocent students, specifically Slytherins. He and his friends formed a group called the Marauders where he is known as Prongs. He is exceptionally brilliant and recently achieved the task of becoming an Animagus, turning into a Stag. James is in love with a fellow Gryffindor 5th year, Lily Evans.



Sirius Black

-nickname: Padfoot


Sirius is the current heir to the Blackl fortune, though he does not want it. Having "betrayed" his family, Sirius is a bloodtratior and looked down upon as scum in the Noble House of Black. He is just as gifted as his best friend, James, and turned into a dog. Sirius is loyal and a good friend, but reckless as a prankster. He is known as Padfoot among his friends and always loves to pick on the Slytherins. He is one of the best looking guys in Hogwarts and knows it, keeping his appearance sharp and clean, saving a big smile for girls that are lucky enough to catch his eye.



Remus Lupin

-nickname: Moony


Lupin is a werewolf, transforming during the full moon each month. The rest of the time, he is a kind, talented, and highly intelligent wizard. Remus has a mischievous streak that manifested itself during his years at Hogwarts, although he was the most restrained of the trouble-making Marauders. He is also an expert on Dark Creatures and how to subdue them. He is also loyal, hardworking, and self-sacrificing, but modest to the point of being self-deprecating.



Peter Pettigrew

-nickname: Wormtail

Peter Pettigrew is ratlike even as a human with a squeaky voice, small eyes and a sharp nose. He is the least talented out of all the Marauders, but one of them anyways. He idolizes James and dreams of being just like him one day. Peter is shy and gets uncomfortable in the spot light and frightens easily. He's a loyal friend to the Marauders. His anigmagus shape is rat.



Lily Evans

-nickname: Lily Flower/Evans (mainly called by James and Slytherins)

Lily is a talented Muggle-born with a love for Potions and Charms. She was exceptionally brilliant in Potion making. As a Prefect, Lily takes her job very seriously and many look up to her. She constantly is on the Marauders' case and tries hard to keep them in line. Lily has a temper that is feared by many. She refused to go out with James Potter and focuses on school work. Out of all the Marauders, Remus is the only she can really get along with. She's very pretty, but modest and kind.



Frank Longbottom
Current 6th Year
Nicknames: n/a

A caring boy of 16, Frank plays along side James as chaser on the Quidditch field. He's very much attracted to Alice Montgomery, but won't admit it no matter what. He's a hard worker, polite, and well liked among Hogwarts.




Slytherins:


Severus Snape
-Current 5th Year
-nickname: Snivellus

Severus is not a happy person. With his greasy black hair, black eyes, and yellow skin, he is hard to stare at and friendless. He is the frequent target for Marauder pranks and hates them all with a passion, as well as Evans, whom often sticks up for him. Snape is an excellent potion maker, giving Lily Evans a run for her money. The Dark Arts interest him and he is proud of being a Slytherin. He's rude and evil.


Lucius Malfoy

Lucius is very skilled in the Dark Arts. He has a twisted mind when it comes to Muggle-torture, something at which he undoubtedly excelles in each summer. Lucius is also an expert at manipulating people. He wields his wealth and social position like a weapon, deftly using it to influence or intimidate other wizards and witches into compliance. Lucius is rather popular in Hogwarts with a secure girlfriend, Narcissa. In his mind, he is the best and everyone must bow down to him. Though the Marauders enjoy the outcome when they prank him, they know better then to cross his path too many times.



Bellatrix Black

-nickname: Bella

A proud Slytherin and Black, Bellatrix is the current girlfriend of Rodolphus Lestrange. She's a beautiful girl and the youngest of the Black sisters. She's proud and holds her head high. She's interested in the Dark Arts, having grown up in the House of Black and learning them since she was a child. She's disgusted by Muggles and Bloodtraitors and keeps a keen eye on her cousin, Sirius, as well as Regulus.


Narcissa Black
-Current 6th Year
-nickname: Cissa or Cissy

The second Black sister and the complete opposite of her sister, Narcissa is pale and blond. She is the proud girlfriend, and hopefully furture wife, of Lucius Malfoy and is completely smitten by him, ready to do anything he asks. She is not as mean or rude as Bellatrix, but still has an evil streak in her.


Regulus Black
-Current 4th year
-nicknames: Reg

The youngest Black in the Noble House, Regulus is also the quietest. Unlike his brother, Regulus was sorted into Slytherin where he vowed to make his parents proud. Focusing only on his studies, Regulus really does not socialize. He keeps to himself most of the time and rarely states his opinion. No one can usually tell what he is thinking and usually does not want to know.


Rodolpus Lestrange

One of the cruelest Slytherins you can come across, Rodolphus has only shown kindess to Bellatrix. He hangs around Lucius and his crowd and is one of the more well known--and feared--Slytherins. He usually leaves other houses alone unless they do something to tick him off.


Rabastan Lestrange
-Current 5th Year
-nickname: n/a

He is the younger brother of Rodolphus and just like his older sibling, he too is cruel. The two together are known to freighten and terrify the younger students. His name has come to be one that is well known and fear along with the rest of the Slytherins he hangs with. He was also made prefect, which though it came as a shock, it was a very welcomed surprise.

Alice Montgomery

Alice is a sweet girl with a round face. She's rather shy, but brave, intellegent, and strong. She's nice to everyone, even with her large dislike for the Slytherins. She's sees the good in everyone and never judges anyone. She is currently crushing on Frank Longbottom.





Hufflepuff:


Amos Diggory

Amos is a kind, happy guy. He's friends with all and enjoys bragging, sometimes getting on people's nerves. He's intellegant and works hard, though he preferes talking.
