-----------------------------------------

Timeslots -

7:00 and 7:30 will no longer feature new programing. Networks will now either be airing syndicated shows or dead air.

If your show has been syndicated, it is eligible to be purchased by one of the networks. This will be done by private auction. Producers will receive no money from the auction or subsequential airing as you have already received money from the current syndication process which goes unchanged.

If you don’t want your previously syndicated show to air, please contact me. This will require you to pay back the city the amount received from syndication.

Syndicated episodes may receive renewed interest for reviews, and as such you might consider contacting a network head and working out a deal for him to acquire your show.

The 11:00 timeslot will now be a news show, game show, reality show, or some type of program which is interactive with the HTG community.

-----------------------------------------

Private Networks -

Networks are now privately owned by the person(s) running them. Because of this, there will be a stricter adherence to the rules. Episodes not turned in on time will result in dead air and fines. Your Network Executive may pass these onto you.

-----------------------------------------

Scheduling Changes -

To simulate real life, we’re going to add a slight penalty to shows that change timeslots or don’t air in consecutive weeks.

-If a show changes timeslots, it receives -0.25 Buzz.
-If a show does not air during a week, it receives -0.25 Buzz for each week it’s off the air before it returns.
-If, during upfronts, a show is scheduled to air during Week One but does not, it receives -0.50 Buzz when it does air.
-If, during upfronts, a show is scheduled to air at a certain time but does not, it receives -0.25 Buzz.
-This can culminate up to -1.00 Buzz.
-Every week the show remains consistent (i.e. stays in the same time slot and airs in consecutive weeks), it gets +0.25 Buzz until it reaches its original buzz score.
-Networks can avoid the -0.25 Buzz for weeks a series does not air by airing a rerun of that series in the correct time slot.
-Shows that air multiple episodes per week are not affected as long as one episode airs in the correct slot.
-All penalties are reset at the end of the season.

-----------------------------------------

Reruns -

Reruns use to receive a 75% penalty. Now this is 50%.

However, only episodes that have aired during the current season can be aired as a rerun.
