Title: Diminished Capacity
Description: Casting Call!

Pedro90 - July 21, 2005 04:14 AM (GMT)
Pedro has an upcoming release with Bulletproof Pictures. The film is "Diminished Capacity" and it is a dramedy.

Here are the main roles of the film.

COOPER ZERBS: Cooper is in his late thirties. He is the kind of man who is a businessman and seems well together. However he also seems like the type of man who has a lot of problems underneath. He is the type who also knows how to be a family man. He's the type of person who likes to do things the straight narrow way and doesn't liketo get into trouble....I was thinking of maybe a comedian for this role who wanted to do a little drama. (Top 4)

ROLLIE ZERBS: Rollie is Cooper's uncle. He is well into his seventies. He is very loving but is getting VERY senile in his old age. He is slowly losing his memory. He constantly calls Cooper by another name and just overall is starting to forget things. He loves to start up insane projects like trying to get fish to type poetry. He loves to have fun but also is a great family man when he can remember it. I'd also like a comedian for this role who can do drama. (Top 4)

CHARLOTTE PRINNE: Charlotte Prinne is in her late thirties. She is a loving single mother who loves her kid, but also has feelings toward her old highschool boyfriend, Cooper. She's the type of woman who's the girl next door grown into a beautiful woman. She is classy and very beautiful...I want someone very beautiful to play this role. (Top 4)

BILLY GARNER: Billy is in his late thirties. He's the type who is a drunken loser. He's always trying to steal from others. He sells everything and robs everyone and then sells it just to get another drink. He's all around just a lowlife loser who needs to grow up. He also swears like there's no tomorrow. (Top 4)

MAD DOG MCCLURE: Mad Dog is like a big teddy bear type of character. He's very big, fat...however you would describe him. However, he is oe of the funniest, smartest people in every room that he's in. He's the type of friend that will always have your back no matter what. (Supporting)

LEE VIVYAN: He's the type who hates the Vivyan Lee jokes that everyone throws at him. He all around is just an asshole, a con artist. He's a schemer, who likes to rip off people who are not as smart as him. He's just an overall slimeball. He looks the part too, he has glasses and looks like a weasel. (Supporting)

BIG STAN CORNELL: Big Stan is definitely big, not fat...he's rather skinny actually...just big as in tall and intimidating. He's the type that you would see growing up in the Bronx. He would be the perfect bodyguard type. He also has a little sense of humor to him. He like Mad Dog, also though has a big heart for as indimidating as he can be. (Supporting)

DILLON WIEMEIER: Dillon is a nine year old boy. He is very interested in just about everything and loves to go on adventures. He's the type who gets excited easily and always gets his hopes up. He looks up to Cooper like a father and he always gets too easily attached to people. (Supporting)

Also looking for a director. The director must be great at directing dramedies, especially concerning family values. The key word is dramedy, so he must be able to direct both drama and comedy.

PAUL GIAMMATI is experienced in both drama and comedy. For a character who likes to things on the straight on narrow, and doesn't like getting into trouble, think of his role in Sideways.

Willie Nelson? :) Okay it's a little left field but it fits. Or maybe George Carlin.

Kevin Dillon has been well rehearsed at playing the asshole over the years. He's 37.

Drama + comedy = Wes Anderson. Who has also dealt with family values in depth with 'The Royal Tenenbaums'.
